That is just great! Glad to hear your granddaughter is doing so well. And in math too. I was horrible in math. English was always my subject. My grandson is good at math too. He just gets bored with all of it.

What kid isn't bored now days? My grandson is in a special class called Excell for kids with ODD and ADD and all that. He is doing so well that he gets to go out into main stream for a couple of classes. So I am pretty proud of the little dude.

You should be proud. I am glad, to hear the school is moving her up. so, many time kids get board because, they know, the work and start making mistakes.

My kids had those too. First addition, then subtraction, etc. I don't think any of them ever got an award for it.

This must be exciting that they are going to have her start doing 3rd grade math. Math was not a Good subject for me until like 8th grade or so. I struggled a lot with it, but do OK with it as an adult. I am sure your Granddaughter will be a lot more happier with this as well.

I think that is great that they are making sure she can do the work but that they also will be challenging her with new work. I hope she keeps it up.

Hello my friend Lakota12 Ji,
Well, heartiest congretulations from my hubby as Math is his allround favourit for him till date. But he further says taht child should not be jumped to next class, even teachers advise, as child will maintain her brilliancy in study. Take care.
May God bless You and have a great time

That is good, she sounds like a smart young lady. I hope she stays interested in math. If she gets bored, she might lose interest. There are ways you can do to help her to stay interested in math.
A suggestion is to find her some math puzzles or math problems online to do, just extra fun challenge quizzes and activities for her to do. Or play some math games with her.
Here are some websites with online games for children. I hope them help your grand-daughter.

Sounds like your grand-daughter likes to be challenged and is a very bright girl.
