I am going back into work tonight at 5pm to train for a new position that opened up and then I will be filling in whenever needed. So I'll be training from 5-7pm tonight and then tomorrow I will work my normal job 6am-230pm and then I go back into work at 5pm and work until 10pm with my second job. I love all the overtime I can get because the money is nice so whenever jobs become available and they let me work it for overtime I do it. I'll have the weekend to catch up on sleep because it's my weekend off and my paycheck will be worth it next week. Do you guys ever take up overtime when you can get it? My department where I work doesn't let us have overtime so whenever other jobs become available to me I take them so I can get overtime from them, it's nice how that works out. Does your job allow you to do this?

You know what? I can feel your enthusiasm with your work. I know how successful you can be with that positive attitude that you have. Just make sure that you can have a very restful day after a week's work. Good Luck!
I could be as workaholic as you are , but unfortunately, all the jobs that I had required a lot of my time but they ever offered me an overtime pay. But, I just loved the work had and it didn't matter if I was working longer than 8 hours everyday.

That is great! The more positions you are familiar with and trained in the better security in the job you will have. I am retired but we used to have manditory overtime. Not fun! I hated it. I don't like to work on the week-ends. Did that for too many years.

That is good, I wish my jobs had that. You get a few hours break then go in to your other job. I sort of have that but work number of jobs. I work 11am - 2pm MOnday - Friday then my other job Sunday 10am - 530pm, MOnday 350pm - 830pm, and Tuesday 350pm - 830pm. My seasonal job during the spring and summer is basically anytime after that. I normally go in after work until warly morning, and then end of the week 3pm - 9pm or later depending on the orders.

Oh I take all the overtime i can get and your right, we can catch up with sleep on our days off.
Overtime if per hour is more expensive than the regular pay, so i go go go for it. Yup will be worth it.
