Yes, I have experienced that. In my experience, a thought popped into my head and I then acted upon it. It is important to act upon those thoughts as it is God's way of telling you something important. One can become that close to God by praying often and earnestly.

Call on God. Ask Him to show you the way. God knows your heart. He knows if you are sincere. God loves you, and if you want Him to be a part of your life, He will be. If you make Him a part of your life, you will know His voice when He speaks to you.

There are many factors involved with talking directly with God. Does it change your lessons? Will the experience make you more dependent rather than you standing on your own two feet? Will you understand what is said? After all God's IQ is off the scale in addition to the fact that people see and hear mostly what they want, not what actually is. How many really want to talk to God? I find very few do. Yes, there are many many factors, however for those who hunger to know and discover the truth, i can point to a good starting point. In this time based causal universe, God's actions can be seen. Start to discover these actions then figure out why God is doing such things. This path will lead to understanding God,and how God really thinks. As you discover more it opens new doors to discover even more. At some point you will realize the path to God. The very first thing God showed me was that all mankind carries such a narrow view. This you need to work hard at changing. A wider more open view can reveal so many things you have never considered. All the secrets of the universe stare us in the face. How long did mankind watch birds fly before they figured out how? God places truth all around us. It is up to us to discover. Your journey will take much time and effort. This is not a overnight journey. There are no short cuts. If you lack the basic amount of understanding with a wide enough view, you will just end up confused by the experience. Let's not forget God has an IQ off the charts. God works on multiple levels with multiple views. You can discover much long after what is said for you will never realize all that was said when you hear it. Perhaps, it's a test of intelligence but it will expand your thinking and view. You have all my Love and Kindness!!
