It is my problem this days. I cannot woke up as early as I can. I have a lot of late in my work already. I felt guilty about it for our superior is not that so strict when it comes to late but for absences only. I feel very tired every time I wake up in the morning and instead of getting up, I still more cuddled my pillows and Oh heaven I am more relax and more went to sleeping mode again. I am just a little bit nervous that my not so strict boss will have a business trip somewhere in Visayas and Mindanao region and will leave for four months and an immediate supervisor will handle us. I want to change that attitude of being tardy. I do not know our immediate supervisor how she will handle us so I would adjust perhaps.

Well, that's it... You admit that you feel guilty and that is a good sign. So you will only need to discipline yourself to wake up as early as you could. Being late is not good for you are making yourself doing things that you know is not right.

I work in a two ride place. And not to mention that it starts at 5am and I have to be proud that I have never been absent nor late in my job, except when we are experiencing bad weather wherein, there are no jeepneys nor motorcabs that pass by.
I think you have to set your alarm 2 hours before your work. In that way, you have an hour of preparing and an hour of traveling.

Maybe you should try hitting the sack earlier than the usual so you could get enough sleep. It is quite cold during the mornings these past few days. And I am also guilty for not being able to wake up on time like I used to (4am).

I'm having a hard time too from waking up early in the morning, whenever I feel the coldness that the morning brings I couldn't resist the temptation to go sleep again. I'll say to myself, I'll get up after five minutes but I end up sleeping again for more minutes. I guess a consistent practice of waking up in the morning will change it or maybe an inspiration, if you have someone that you love to see in your work everyday, then I think it'll help you psychologically to get up early. :)

Had a same problem here. I always woke up late in the morning. I put my alarm clock turned on but when it rings in the morning, I put it off then sleep again. What I do now is I use three alarm clocks and, set them in the time I want and also set the loudest volume. After that, I place them very far from my bed, and sometimes I put them in the living room. This way, when they ring in the morning, I have no choice but to wake up to turn them off. By the time I will be in the living room, my sleepiness will be gone. Haha This works for me. But take not that you should do this when you are living alone, or else you will give a hard time to your housemates.

I think you should plan more carefully so that your time is better managed. Try to find out what slows you down the most and makes you late for work. It's important that you show up on time or you might get fired. I wish you best of luck.
