Kid got a homework from kindergarten, last night,I spent nearly one hour to guide him to finish it.The homework is not very difficult, there are two circles on a paper, and require kid draw eyes and month in one circle in order to form a smile face, and do the same thing in another circle to form an angry face. For the smile face,he just need to draw a curve with both ends upward at the month position, and two curves with both ends downward at eye's position, and the angry face is opposite.
It's a huge task for the kid, cause he had never learnt how to draw at home,I don't know if he had learnt it in kindergarten or not,at home, all he had done with a pen is drawing on a paper randomly. Finally,he finished the two face that I only can score them 50.I guess I have lots of work to do,I need to teach him how to draw step by step, the first is how to keep a right sitting posture, second,he need to learn how to handle a pen tightly and steadily, the last should be teaching him how to draw a shape he want on paper.Well,it's a huge task for me now.
Any good idea and experience, share me please.......

Education of children is a hard mission, I have similar experience as yours,I have a daughter ,she also go into kindergarten, the teacher will teach singing , teacher asked parents to write the song's words when children singing, it means our children and us need finished this task togather, it seems is very easy, but it is a very hard work, my children's singing is not fluent and clear, I need recognise carefully, sometime my daughter forgot words, this task will can't finished.
there is a interesting thing, my daughter can recoginse number from 1 to 10, but she always can't writing write number 6 , I don't know why , I teach her again and again, now she can write this number. recently day, she can learn the simple plus mathod. Teaching children is hard thing , but also is a delight thing

How old is he? Some kids never learn how to hold a pencil until after Grade two. Our kid did not know how to hold a pencil properly until she reached second grade. She thought it was painful to her fingers if she held it the proper way. Now she's in Grade 4 and she's doing okay. We just have to wait until the kids' psycho-motor will develop.
