Leaderboards

I just noticed that each category has leaderboards. If you haven't noticed - just scroll to the bottom of the page in a category. What do leaderboards do? How do they help the category or members who post in a category? Does Mylot select members to be a leaderboard? How does a member get to be on the leaderboard? Do they get paid more for being on the leaderboard?

Sure, I've noticed these before. It's nice to see where you are in the rankings. I think your ranking is in with each topic. I think the more you write in one topic, the more your rankings will go up in that particular topic or interest area.
