I didn't want to wake up today!

This morning I decided to set the alarm 30 mins earlier in order to make a nice breakfast and enjoy my coffee a little longer! It's the last day of the week so it is kind of busy at work! I thought that giving myself some extra relax time in the morning would be better! But when the alarm started ringing I didn't want to wake up! I ended up spending the 20 minutes at bed, trying to wake up and reading my emails from my smartphone, while I was still under my duvet! Lol
Then I got up at around my regular time and prepared for work! Does this happen to you, when you try to change your waking up time? I can't believe that I couldn't wake up 30 mins earlier! I never have this problem with my regular time!

I didn't want to wake up earlier today too. It is because I didn't get a good night sleep last night. My teenage daughter went out of the house. As I was waiting for her, I didn't noticed that I had slept. Then, my brother who lives in a far place dropped by in my place. I will take a nap this afternoon for sure because I feel sleepy.

I didn't wait for her but she knocks on our door so I have to stand up to open the door for her. I didn't get my rest this afternoon but I will sleep early today.

Hi friend, i too faced such kind of situations in my life. If i am very tired, it is really hard to get up from the bed in the early manner, most of the time i will get up in the regular time and like to do it, in very few cases i like to get up very earlier and did such kind of delay wake up activities

I think that when I wake up early I have the full day in front of me and enough time to do everything! Waking up earlier than usual does not happen very often but sometimes I want to do that in order to have some extra time of calmness and maybe planning before a busy day. When my parents wake up, they are in the mood to start a chat but I really want to plan my day and be focused on that! I am not good with people in the morning!
So waking up 20 minutes earlier is ideal on those days! Unfortunately my biological clock is used to the waking up time and it is not easy for me to get up earlier!

I don't ever wake up earlier then intended unless I have to go to the bathroom or something. However this morning I kept waking up every hour and my alarm was set to go off at 455am and I ended up just getting up at 445am because I was already up. I never get up any earlier but I always wake up an hour before I have to be to work and still have 20mins to relax while getting ready etc. I'm not much of a morning person at all.

Usually I am trying to take good advantage of my sleeping time and don't wake up earlier. But some days I just need to have some extra time to enjoy my coffee and the peace at home before everyone wakes up. I am not very social in the morning before I drink some coffee and I really enjoy those moments when everyone else is asleep and I can relax and have my own thoughts without being expected to participate in any conversations!

That happens to me as well. So what i would do is to set my clock atleast 15 minutes in advanced. Example, I need to be up by 4am to prepare my kids food. What I'd do is set my clock 15 minutes earlier. So when my alarm goes off at 4am, it is only actually 345am. I still have time to do some stretching before I would get up. It's just my way of tricking myself!

That happens to me on several occassions already. To the point of cancelling my scheduled activities. I felt really bad when I'm late due to not waking up on a planned time. That's why. I make it a point to sleep early, prepare the things needed the night before to better prepare me to face the day. Thanks

Preparing things at night helps me sleep without stress too! Waking up early in the morning feels nice because you have all day ahead to do many activities. When I wake up too late, the night comes before I even do half of the things I have planned!
IN order to achieve that you definitely have to sleep earlier. If you don't sleep well after a few days it will be hard to find the energy to wake up early!

The same happens to me! Of course, right now I am trying to get my 3 month old on a schedule. I have go back to work next week and my first shift starts at 4am! Plus we are all sick, she didn't want to sleep at the time I wanted to sleep last night so we were up until midnight! Your body will adjust to an earlier time if you train it, I used to work 4am shifts all the time and believe me it's hard to train you body but it does obey! I suggest trying to do this a few days in a row, maybe some consistency will help.

It has happened to me many times. When I am preparing for an exam I sometimes feel that I should have breakfast so that I would be awake for the test and so I would set my alarm to wake me up a little earlier so I could make breakfast. However, even if I try going to be earlier, I can't wake up. Especially since my alarm has the snooze function where you can turn it off but it will ring 5 minutes later so I usually sleep in.

During exams the sleeping hours are not the same! I remember I was also sleeping very little and it was hard for me to wake up as well! I put my alarm on the phone too and I do the same! Mine actually rings again after 9 minutes so I might actually fall asleep and even dream between the alarms! Lol

It's difficult to change our getting up time. Usually the time we get up is what we can accept, or if we don't get up we will be late for work. I can't get up early , especially in winter, so cold outside. But still I have to get up at six in the morning, or I will have not enough time to prepare breakfast, the family can't eat breakfast on time, that means we will be late for work , and my daughter will be late for school. So six o'clock is my bottom line.
Every time I get up, I always say to myself," How I wish I can sleep longer."Am I lazy?

No you are not lazy! lol
I am thinking the same when I wake up very early! But I think that I am used to waking up at a specific time and when I change that I can't really get used to it!
Your waking up time is much earlier than mine though, and I know what you mean. During the winter I feel really cold as well and I just want to stay at bed for a bit longer!

Everyday I don't want to get up from the warm bed, because it is so cold outside that it is horrible to get up and then go to the office. But i get up nearly at 7:40 everyday, and my work starting time is 8:30.
