Well i think man utd have the weakest center midfield combination in the top 3 of premier league.
Well we used to have the dazzling partnership Scholes and Roy Keans and after that Hargreaves was super for one season, down he went with injuriesfor rest of 3 seasons.
We have Carrick , who is used to pass backwards or sideways only now.He is more suitable for a defensive position then a midfield combo.
Cleverly he is learning his trades , he is more of one pass player, who likes to run with ball in the wings.I dont think he has ability to pick a pass to player betwwen other.
Fletcher, waiting for him come back to his old form where he was devastating.
Anderson always gets injured.Don know why.
Kagawa was bought as creative playmaker, but he is taking balls and running back then front with it
What you guys think of current midfield combo

This seems to be one hot topic of discussion among Manchester United fans around the world since the 2 final defeats at the hands of Barcelona. Now, while I agree to an extent that the current United midfield is not up there when compared to times when Keane played for United, I wouldn't say it is weak.
I would start by saying that I don't believe Carrick only passes sideways and backwards. One can actually go through some statistics to see that he's one of the best passers, including forward, in Europe this season. Cleverley is still pretty young so I wouldn't say anything about him just yet. Kagawa was brought in only this term so it would harsh to jump to conclusions about his ability. Also, while I agree Anderson's mostly injured, he's ususally been good whenever he's played. I would like to point to out Jones' performances recently against Real and Everton. He easily kept Ronaldo and Fellaini at bay.
All in all, I certainly think United have far better midfield than given credit for. But in any case, someone like Victor Wanyama would only improve a decent midfield to be one of the best in Europe.
Cheers.

i think the solution is MU must buy a new player with the characteristic is like wesley sneijder. or player who can control the tempo and can pass well. cleverly i think is good but he still need tome to learn more. but i think cleverly is very prospective for MU future.
