He..he..he...A few hour ago I was at the gym and a new sound reached my ears. In the past it had been groans, grunts, and moans, but now a new male member is bringing in a new sound. As he was lifting the heavy weights, he would let out an oop-oop-oop to go with the counting. I was like a fool because I was secretly laughing to myself because in my mind I was thinking, "There's another Mylot discussion for me." LOL If you were there and you saw me trying to control myself from laughing at my crazy thoughts, you would have thought I must be out of my mind.

I can imagine you grinning and ready to break into laughter as you are hearing that kind of sound of your fellow gym user. Oop, oop , oop indeed seems funny and weird. It seems like oops, which for me means , nearly or careful. But oop. it seems like he wants to go to the CR!

Well I have to say I have never heard any gym user say oop, oop, oop! That would be a new one to me and I too wouldn't be able to contain my laughter, which is just as well I have my earphones on. Sometimes I have my ears on, but don't have the volume on so people think I am listening to my music when I am not, you can sometimes hear some thing that they think you are not listening when in truth you are. I think some men put on the sounds to try and impress others that they are lifting hard heavy weights, it's so macho based it's comical just to watch!

Oh. I did not think of it as that way. It sounds funny and not macho.

Sounds like the person lifting was lifting within their means and it was no problem for them. I haven't heard anyone lift in a long time, so I wouldn't know the normal sounds you should or shouldn't use.

"Oop"? That is a new one! Whatever helps you work out I guess. I would've been trying not to laugh as well. Sounds hilarious!

It does because I was thinking of something to discuss here.
