Well, eating vegetables is good, but you can't be really healthy without good wholesome meat. I tend to eat a lot of chicken and beef. Though I do love vegetables: broccoli, carrots, celery, cucumber, lettuce, spinach, asparagus. The whole nine yards. But you can't just eat fruits and vegetable, you have to have meat to have a well rounded, healthy diet.

I am a nonvergetarian, but I do not loathe vegetarian if it tastes good. With influx of so many cuisines, vegetarian food options have increased and hence I do prefer eating vegetarian with my vegetarian friends. vegetarian is certainly easy to digest.

Every once in awhile, I think that I'm going to change to pretty much and all veggie and fruit diet. But then I'll have some ice cream or some type of junk food and then my body will feet "Ugh" after I do. I just need to totally make up my mind to cut out 99% of the junk food and sugary drinks that I consume. I know I'll be better off for it, too.

I also love the vegetarian food and sometimes I eat non veg too. I was non vegetarian from childhood because my parents are so. In between my secondary education I left the non vegetarian and became vegetarian, but again after 2 to 3 years later I joined the non veg also. It is good to eat the non vegetables also because it provides us more proteins as compared to the simple vegetables.

We are ovo-vegetarians. We eat eggs and once in awhile we eat cheese on our pizza. I normally don't buy pizza, but we do have it at least once a month. I prefer vegetarian pizza. YUM. We eat a lot of legumes, nuts, rice, quinoa oatmeal and eggs.
We always have bananas, apples and oranges. Always. When I can and if I can fit it in the budget, I like to buy other fruits like grapes, kiwi, star fruit, pineapple and pears.

I don't eat red meat very often because I just can't afford it. So, it is probably what is best for my body anyways. I do eat lots of chicken and fish. And lots of fresh vegetables - either veggie sticks or salads. I don't cook my vegetables very often and when I do, I cook them very lightly and the minimum time needed to cook them.
I do try to pay attention to what my body saying. But darn it, sometimes it is saying; 'I need chocolate NOW'. :)
Anyways, I do eat fresh vegetables and fruit every day. At least 3 servings but most times more. It fills me up and I don't crave the junk food - that is except chocolate!! But I buy good quality dark chocolate and that is suppose to be good for us. Hopefully it really is good for us. :)
