Glad to know about your thoughts....it is right. But,is it not our duty to thank him daily for everything he has given us free and also a good life when compared with others who are handicapped and cannot enjoy as a full fledged humans..do..!
It is just like - I am healthy eating my food but am not interested to do any physical exercises as I am healthy...

You should better be grateful to those handicapeds of whom griefs are being turned into your well beings. To pay thanks to God is not mandatory.

For any small things which come into favor in our daily routine of life....we just utter a word " thanks " and this come spontaneously..
Our mind is tuned to this ...but the creator has given us so many things ...for which - it is our foremost duty to thank him for giving an opportunity to open our eyes daily in the mornings to see this beautiful world...

Yes, I pray hard every chance I get in a day. Sometimes, I even wonder if God gets tired listening to me everyday. I also asked Him that question. Hahaha! He's like a virtual bestfriend for me. Someone who's always there for me no matter what happens even if I don't get to see Him. I thank Him non-stop for all the good things that has come my way or even the simple pleasure or happines I get to experience everyday. I keep asking for His forgiveness for the mistakes I've made.
When I'm so down and weary, He is the first person I go and talk to. I lay down all my burdens to Him and ask for more strength to face my problem/s. I keep telling Him that He knows what He's letting me go through and that I trust Him on His plans for me. My friend would often laugh at me because I keep telling her that God and I are super bestfriends. Hahaha!
God has never failed me and I'll forever be grateful for His love and mercy. Happy myLotting! :D

Amazed to hear all these thoughts from your good self....It is really great to hear these thoughts and I am happy that you are a blessed child of the almighty for - you have totally surrendered to him - that is what he needs and nothing from any humans..the prayer you offer is truly heard if it comes from the bottom of your heart and nothing fails ...good. God bless you...!

hi there busybee10,
indeed, prayer is the most powerful weapon at all times. by means of prayer, our petitions are granted though not in our own time but in God's perfect timing. and as our petitions are being fulfilled by God, it is really unexplainable feeling since He had given to us what we wish for.

I totally agree with your statements and am happy that you are really thanking HIM for the petitions he is granting you...
Luck and Blessed are those in this world who remember HIM...as He is our true friend and a well wisher...
Just pray fervently and it is heard...that is GOD.
God bless you...!

I pray to almighty God, but of course I am not waiting for a magic. I pray to God, but then, I have to work out. Not just pray to God and then, do nothing or else it would be useless.

UR right I totally agree with your statements and transparent thoughts...
That is right we have to do our duty but do not expect any returns from that....it is called "Karma Yoga"...
God really helps if the prayers come from the bottom of your heart...but we cannot call them as miracles..Many have been benefited by prayers and you too can...
God bless you..!!

I feel guilty reading your post coz i know that i should be praying as often as I should. But I always tend to just be praying when I need help. Prayers should be of asking forgiveness as well as being thankful.
But eventhough I do not get to pray that much, there was one prayer that I did asked for strength and enlightenment. And He did answer my prayers.

Vow....great to hear that you have been blessed with your prayer...that is God who is full of compassionate...
"A saying goes like this" - If you put one step towards God -He runs 10 steps towards you..
So why don't you start it immediately as you have 24 long hours and fine some 5 minutes to spend to HIM who has given so many things...hope you will use the formula DIN - as framed by Swami Sivananda which means "Do It Now"...

Hmm frankly speaking i wont pray daily. I agree prayer is the powerful weapon (as i feel) but i think we should do the prayer whole heartedly an not just do it just as ritual following. so i pray but when ever i feel like praying not just as a routine work.

No problem...at all but I can only say that you hve a spiritually bent of mind but it takes some time to get along with the prayers which are more important in daily life...Everything runs by time and only time decides about the importance of prayers. It comes through practice and experience.I suggest you to go through some spiritual books and stories which enlighten about prayers..

Hello mariaperalta - The almighty has give us this beautiful birth and everything is totally free....just imagine for a while are you not using everything free...
And to all these it is our foremost duty to Give " HIM " - Thanks..for..
In our daily life for small things done in our favor of us by others we just say "thanks" - but the almight has give us 24 long hours and is not charging anything and despite of this he has give us so many unimaginable things just free - is it not our duty to spend at least a couple of minutes towards him to convey thanks....
what do you say...
Hope, you remember me and add me as your friend here...!!
