One way to enjoy life is to dance

I go twice weekly to a dance class and it makes me feel very happy. Many new people have began at it since it is January. The dance teacher plays lovely music which gives everyone much energy. I know a lady that can't afford to go to the sport's center. She goes round to her sister's house and has a go at dancing the same sort of dancing we do at the class that I go to. They use the ladies nephews X Box to know the movements of the dances. I have some CD's of the music and dance to it at home when my children are asleep in the evening. I make sure I keep the volume low. I feel the dancing makes me feel so very happy. Did you dance anywhere and really enjoy it? If you do dance which sort of music do you like to dance to?

I think it is good to learn dancing but I myself never took the dance classes. I think I have to try it for some time, because later I am never going to get the chance to do so. If it remains in my mind then your discussion will be helpful to me. Thanks.

I have an x box with the kinnect as well. I bought a few of the dance games and had a few of the girls over that work for me in the summer season. We had a blast dancing. We never stopped laughing the entire night. They stayed or 5 hours. What a work out that was.

I would love to get my boyfriend to go to a dance class with me. I think that it would be fun to learn ballroom dancing. Unfortunately, he's not willing to try that. He's not much of one for dancing; I, on the other hand, am often dancing around the house (like a lunatic). Even the cats get caught up in my madness; just yesterday, I couldn't get the song "Call Me Maybe" out of my head, so I played it on Spotify and danced around with my middle cat.

Dancing was one of the things that makes me happy in my life.. I dance a lot during my college days and when I was working once in a while my workmate and friends goes to a disco house and just have fun dancing.. now I still dance for fun in our house together with my nephews and nieces and of course with my son..

I totally agree with you, now i am planning to learn jazz twice a week, because i think learning dance can help to build our body and keep fit. It is very worthwhile.

That is one thing I have never been able to do and one activity that I actually feel self conscious about, I feel people are looking at me, watching me, and I feel uncomfortable, even at discos, I'd rather watch than partake. I guess I have too many inhibitions too, because I don't drink I don't even have that as giving me the courage to get up on the dance floor. I am glad you enjoy your dance class and makes you feel happy, it's a good way of meeting people too.

I love dancing but I don't dance much. The only time I really enjoyed dancing was when we joined a dance competition with my officemates. That was the first time I have participated in a dance competition and it was a good experience for me. We trained so hard for our dance routine. We go home everyday dog-tired from practice. It was draining. Well, we didn't get the first place but it was okay. We bagged the third place and we were all happy about it. Our efforts still paid off. The routine we did was quite difficult to keep up so we didn't really expect to end up in third plce. After that, I only dance in the house or with my friends on parties. I have never joined another dance competition since then but I still love dancing. :D

I used to take hip-hop/jazz funk dance classes for a year some years ago. I really enjoy it, but I had to cease it, as my time schedule now is really hectic. But I do enjoy dancing, just an inventive me-style, at home :D.

That is true some people like to dance. It is their way of relaxation and form of exercise too. I would really like to dance too however I have two left feet. :-) What I mean is I don't know how to dance. :-) So I just watch people dancing. :-)
