There is a happy feeling at the weekend

There is no school at the weekend so we can get up a little later than we do on the weekdays. If I wish to go shopping on a weekend Saturday is the better day for it. Then all of the shops will be open. My son is in a wheelchair so he had a blue badge for free parking. I can park in a disabled parking bay for up to 3 hours if I use his badge. I am not allowed to use his badge if he is not with me. So I only use this badge when I am out with my son. I like to drive into town early so I can park for free. If I went later then all the disabled parking bays might be full. My children feel relaxed and happy playing with their toys at the weekend. My daughter loves playing with her Barbie camper van and all her Barbie dolls. My son adores playing with his rocket launcher and his Star Wars toy. What sort of things do you like doing at the weekend? Do you have happy feelings at the weekend?

Yes we all have a good and happy feeling at the weekend because after 5 days hard working we can have a good rest finally. As for me,usually I will call some of my friends to play basketball at the weekend,or we will ride our bikes to travel around our city.

I usually study during the weekends. Back in high school I looked forward to the weekend a lot. I remember I would sit in class during Fridays and just smile and be happy. Now I worry a lot more about my grades and the weekend doesn't feel too different from the weekdays since I still have to study. Perhaps it would be different when I finish my degree and go to work and I can just leave everything work related at the workplace and then go home and relax. I hope I can find a job like that for me.

I love weekends. I always look forward to it at the start of every week. Hahaha! It's the only time of the week that I get to spend the way I want it. I mean I have all the time I want and need to do all the things I plan to do without having to meet or beat deadlines or schedule. It's my free time from work. Hahaha! Sometimes work can be so stressful so weekends serve as my consolation from a week-long stress from work. My Saturdays are normally spent with friends. We have coffee somewhere and talk for long hours about how our week went and then we'll all dine out and talk some more about life. We sometimes go to movie houses or stay at one of my friend's house to do a movie marathon or cooking/baking sessions. My friends and I love to eat so we spend most days together dining out or making ourselves some good meals we have researched on the Internet. As for Sundays, I always make sure I'm with the family. Sunday is always a family day for me. My cousins and I will just hang out in the house and that's the only time we plan on how we are going to spend the day. Sometimes we do Do-It-yourself facial, hair waxing or foot spa. Other times we just do our nails and then talk and catch up how's everyone been doing. We would order pizza and catch some good shows on the TV. However, we make sure that we start our Sundays with a Holy Mass as much as possible. Weekends are the best! :D

I guess you could call it a 'happy feeling'. Although sometimes I think it's more of a 'relief'. I get so tired at working all week with all the stress and pressures at work. And then come home to do the house chores that when weekend comes, I could definitely have a few hours where I could literally do nothing.

I am very much happy in the weekend but when I have to finish the cloth washing etc, it seems boring. I love if there is some trip/travel to some new interesting place.

so you have well planed everything . Good if you take children along with you they will also have a good time in the weekend . I didn't plan anything so far. so they provide a separate parking area for disabled that's really good we don't have any such here. Hope we too will be provided with such facilities here so that people with difficulty can manage well.

Sunny weekend - Enjoy your weekend! Hope it's sunny and warm!
It's nice to hear of your weekend plans. I, for one, can sleep in during the weekends. That's what I love about it. I basically still have to work on weekends though these days to earn money. I guess the beauty of the weekend now for me is that people around me are more relaxed and aren't as hurried or stressed as on the weekdays that their stressed energy begin to rub off on me. I feel naturally happy on a Saturday whether or not I have plans to go out. I was born on a Saturday.

Usually I would agree with you, that I get a happy feeling when the weekend starts and I come back home on Friday. But I'm in university now and we have our exams soon, so I have no free time on the weekend except for around an hour which I make free for myself. My weekends now are spent studying and they will be like that to the end of this month :( Not much to enjoy.

Weekend is very tiring for me but giving me so much satisfaction for this is the day where I spent my time for my family, that is when I was still with them. This is the most awaited time of the week, I still remember my kids are always counting the days. Usually before the weekend comes we already have plan it's either we will cook some special dishes at the house or we will go outside to go malling or go to the park and there's a lot more. This is the happiest day of our week we called it our family day. :)

I like weekend, because i can sleep very late in the morning, and i can do whatever i want during the day, not just work. I can go shopping with friends, i can watch movies, i can listen to the music, oh, there are so many things i can do during the weekend.

Working on weekdays like a machine and not getting any relief will definitely give one frustration. And weekend gives everybody relief from the whole hectic weekdays. Even i feel like as if someone has given be independence from the rope that i was tied up with throughout the week. I enjoy my weekend giving my body a sound sleep.

weekend is my favorite part of the week. No school, no early wake up call. I feel great. I surf the net all day when weekend. This is my hobby and my field of interest.

For longer than I can remember I have always hated the weekends my friend, when I used to work I was very popular among my colleagues as I would always swap my shifts so I could work on a Saturday and have a day off in the week instead. The reason being is that my father has his 'drinking binges' at the weekend, and he's horrid to be around. Usually to get out of the way I will go to the gym. I dread Saturdays.

I am busy with work and voluntary week in the weekends. I work Saturday and Sunday and on Sunday afternoon I visit the family from Myanmar. I am a voluntary language teacher and I help them with their Danish vocabulary, grammar, pronounciation etc. Sometimes we also visit my mother-in-law in the weekends. She lives on the neigbour island and it not that far from other home. Sometimes my husband and I drive around on our island and the neighbour island Saturday afternoon. I love to visit new places, but if I am tired I prefer to relax in my home. I usually surf the internet or read.

Kids love weekends and they're always waiting for weekend during school days. Usually me and my kids spend a weekend together- dining out (sometimes) strolling in the park and have some chit-chat. It's the weekend here in our place but it's raining so- I guess we will stay at home and cook some favorite foods.
