I just go for what i like and what I can afford at the time . I will not set on no name products , because i like names that i have heard about and I also like quality so it all depends on the product and what i can afford at the time .

I used to buy all name brands but I learned some stuff tastes the same no matter what brand so I buy a combination of name brands and what I call 'store brands'. I found out that if I buy a little of both, I can save a little money for other things..

I'm also for buying the cheaper brand. At my local stores there's usually only one brand of a product so I don't usually get to choose but at some stores I visit I've seen several brand of the same product. During those times, I buy the cheapest brand whether or not it's a brand name. Sometimes I end up with the brand name items because they're on sale and even less expensive than the no name brands.

I always have... youd be very surprised who makes some of those no named products. When I lived in usa a friend showed me a no name market brand soup... it was made by campbells. Many times you are only paying for the name and label.

Yes, I do buy no brand, off brand, or sometimes called bootleg brand, depending on what the product is, some of the generic brands taste just as good, I also use my coupons when I can on those products, I LOVE saving money.

For me it depends on the product. We usually buy the store name products, because there is not much diference.

I guess like you it depends on what the product is. Canned and frozen veggies, condiments, sugar, salt, spices, I really don't see a difference in the brand so I go for price. Sometimes I've found that the off brand and cheapest ones taste better anyways. I guess I look more at what's in the product too for quality.
