Hi friend, good to hear that you bought all the required items and save money too. Really it is a good deal. I think your daughter is very smart to do this kind of wise shopping. Continue your shopping activities with the same shop

Isn't it nice to find a place that is both moderate in price and actually stocks what you like to buy? We go to Walmart and are happy with the products they carry. I think they might even have the Godstoppers. I know they have Bottlecaps.

Are you talking about the Wonka gobstoppers? I have no trouble finding them, but there are better ones out there that I can only get at a candy store... Hum... have to go to that candy store again - LOVE those jawbreakers!

In the UK, Walmart took over ASDA and it is one of the cheaper supermarkets (LIDL and ALDI are cheaper than it). We don't have Save alot. However, I'd be surprised if any supermarket failed to stock the junk items you mention.

It was the junk drink I was referring to primarily. Coke and pepsi are good for cleaning up tarnished coinage, etc., but shouldn't be allowed anywhere near your teeth. Phosphoric acid entering my gullet? No, thank you. I note from Wikipedia that funyons are also owned by Pepsi (I've not seen them here) and they have too much salt. I remember hearing, too, that Pepsi are amongst the worst employers you could work for. This is not a plug for Coke, who took ordinary Thames water, put it through reverse osmosis, contaminated it with the carcinogen, bromate, and then bottled and marketed it as "Dasani", a "pure water" (Actually, Thames water is known to be better tasting than spring water, which is why they got away with it for as long as they did). At least IRN BRU doesn't contain phosphoric acid, but it's still not good for your teeth.

I have never heard of that one either so I guess lucked out on finding what you needed there. I have no desire for candy for some reason except chocolate. I do buy some frozen food, sometimes. One store is more expensive than the other though so you have to check prices and use coupons, if you want a good deal here.

I have shopped at Save-A-Lot a few times it does save you some money so it 's worth going there yes they do have a few of everthing but they are not close to me so it would be better for me to go to Walmart or the Dollar Tree I buy some stuff from the Dollar Tree I don't mind an off brand now they even take coupons better yet

I love buying my eggs at Save-A-Lot. I can get two packages of 30 eggs for $5.18, and those are the "natural no hormone fed chicken" eggs. At Walmart a 60 count pack cost $7.88. I also get my wraps there for when I want to make burritos. They do carry my almond milk, but I can still get that cheaper at Walmart. I agree, they do have some pretty good prices. We like shopping there.

We don't have save a lots here, but good that you found a store that carries everything. I hate having to go from one store to the next when they run out of a few things you want.

Glad you found what you are looking for and all at one store. I don't buy candy except for dark chocolate or sugar-less chocolate. I have to shop at several stores to find all that I want. But if I plan out my route, I can go in a large circle (sort of) driving from one store to another and then, circle back home. I somewhat live in the middle of all the stores where I like to go shopping. And yet, I live in a quiet neighborhood. There isn't a Save Alot store where I live, never heard of this store. But glad you can find what you are looking for. Our daughters can indeed teach us a few things about shopping from time to time. :)
