Buyer's Remorse

It's when you go to a store (or shopping online) and you see something you think you want. So you buy it and soon after you ask yourself, "what did I just do? why did I buy that?" I do this from time to time. The last thing I bought and didn't even want it afterward was a pair of boots with wool on the inside with a really cute heel. I tried them on in the store and they were really cute. I brought them home, wore them once and thought, "Why don't I want these anymore?" Anybody have any buyer's remorse?
What did you buy?

Yes I do that with each new Sims 3 game that comes out. Suddenly I'm like a little kid all over again. I just have to have it, so I run out & buy it. I play the game for maybe a week or two & then I forget all about it for the longest time. So I ask myself, "Why do I keep buying these games when I know I'm just going to lose interest in them once I actually get them?" I've yet to come up w/ an answer....LOL

I did that once with a video game. I think it was a Resident Evil game or something like that..it was a big deal at the time and I had a choice between a pair of sneakers or the game and like a dummy I got this game all to find out I was too scared to play it and had to wait two weeks for another paycheck..that was awful...

Definitely. This happens to me quite a lot! Honestly I think that sometimes shopping isn't very useful for me, sometimes. Sometimes I just want some type of "retail therapy" or some excitement, and there is some excitement to be had (and power to be had!) in spending money. Just the other day I spent $60 on hoodies on an online retailer. In retrospect I am thinking I could have spent that money a little better. Eh.

The only time I have buyers remorse i when I find out in the future that money would've helped me pay for something that came up. Something that was more a priority than that item. I'm real budget oriented so when I look to buy something, its only because I can.
