Favorite scents

My cousin recently has a new hobby and business making candles; soy candles to be exact. The scent possibilities are endless and we are most certainly spoiled by them. After I have smelled and burned hers, I do not think I can buy from the store. I have some scents I favor but I am looking to expand my selection. What are some of your favorite scents? Do they bring back memories? Do you burn candle scents by season?

My two favorites are Ylang Ylang and Jasmine. I do sometimes light candles according to the season, the Christmas aromas, mmmmmmmmm. There are others scents I like but they are overpowering for me, for example gladiolas. I also like the citrusy scents, orange blossom, lemon grass.
My parents made candles years ago. It's not difficult, but when you have cats to be wary of when working with something like that it isn't feasible to me.
Enjoy experimenting. I have with essential oil blends.
