My son cooked a new recipe for us tonight. It involved shrimp, white rice, lemon juice and lemon pepper. It was a little lemony, but overall, it was good. He got the recipe from his girlfriend's mother. I will have to thank her for giving him the recipe. I'm proud of him for picking out a recipe and cooking dinner.

He cooks periodically, this week he's cooked three times. He does good and I'm very proud that he isfinding other avenues to find more recipes.

Sounds like you have a very sweet son. The meal he cooked does sound a little lemony, but it was the thoughtfulness he put into it and I am sure that made it taste even better. It also sounds like it is very healthy, what a proud momma you should be. Cheers.

Yes it was a tad bit to lemony, but overall it was good for his first time making this recipe. He can make a mean meatloaf! I love the way he makes that. :P``

Its really very good to have such things in our household. I think my mother would really be proud of me if I can cook some delicious foods for our meals.

. The fact is, I am not really into cooking :0

I know. I'm not into cooking either. I'm the type of person that when it's time to eat, I want my food right then and now. I can't cook when I don't know what I want to eat. If I don't have specific foods in the house to cook certain meals, than I'm at a loss. So when my kids do more than I expect, it makes me proud. :-)
