waking self while sleeping / myLot

Last Saturday I woke myself while dreaming. I shouted at the bully-like image in my dream so I literally wake myself. I yelled so loud that someone thought I was attacked with a knife. It's like 3 or 4 in the morning. It brings me to a question, who else shout while dreaming? Any similar experience? I'm worried that it's only me who do it.

Thanks a ton for sharing this discussion. Well i can understand your situation and i think it is very much common for all of us to get up screaming whenever we see any weird dream. This has happened with me many times and i think there is nothing to get worried about this and u should calm down and whenever this happens with u again, have a glass of water and then sleep again. What say?

Haha, I just fell back to sleep. Sleep's invitation was stronger. I have to sleep enough hours.

Something similar happened to me just last week. I was dreaming that I had set up a force-field to keep a stack of boxes piled high, tested it, and began to turn away. (yes, I love science fiction, so a force-field didn't seem weird at all). Suddenly the stack of boxes began to sway menacingly. I called out "wait a minute..?" as I was perplexed that my force-field wasn't holding. Then the huge stack of boxes fell. I called out "wait... wait... WAIT!" and woke myself up. Embarrassingly, I also awoke others in the house.
