Some people are just intimidating. They would look at you from head to toe and look at every action you've done and they would have some bad facial expressions or at times won't react and listen to you while you are talking. And some are just not for real. I'm quite fed up with these kind of people. Have you experienced this mylotters? What do you do when someone is intimidating you?

There are those kinds of people everywhere, edv. But I just don`t mind them. They belong to the race of bullies and if you listen to them or shrink at their stares, they can do a lot of harm. Better move on and look at them as if they weren`t there.

There are many ways of bullying. That is one of them. Don`t mind them. They love to have the attention of everyone.

hi there edvc77,
before i used to get intimidated easily but as time goes by i was able to get over from it. thanks for the advice being given to me by my bestfriend. as she keeps on telling me not to be intimidated to anybody. as she keeps on reminding me that i am also blessed with a lot of good traits so having these are good enough for me to be thankful and be proud. so she always told me to just smile to those people who keeps on intimidating and intriguing me. maybe they are just bored to their lives.

You are most welcome. Perhaps, also think that you have a lot of good traits to feel proud. So as not to get intimidated from them. Aside from smiling at them, also think that you are also bless with good talents.

Yeah, I experienced being intimidated by people. What I do when I got intimidated, just let it be. I will pull away and do nothing to them. I just ignored them, mostly. People say that I am stupid to react that way and I should have stand out for myself..
The reason I pull off is I don't want to create scene and cause a fight. So, I just ignored them... I believe, what goes around will come around.

Hi i agree this is what i did may be i am not so matured at that time. And did not understand how to deal with it. But i have seen some of my friends who made/created some scene and i didn't like it as they faced some other problems after that. so may be i don't want this to happen with me.

Yes, it is so bad and you would really feel like hitting them. However, I control myself and pull away because if I won't pull away I might do something that is not good. I pray and give them to God. And at times I just ignore them as I never saw someone or heard someone. However, people like these are very taxing. I want peace and harmony but they are just obstacles. I think that is life and some people. There would really be some contradictions. Thanks prashu!
Have a nice day!

Hi edvc77, I know exactly what you are saying. I too get those people who basically think they're better than evryone. To be fair, fo them sorts of people to be judging and intimidating us, it just proves we're better than them really. You should just ignore them a they have no lives and are just bullies. Whensomeone intimidates me, I just don't let them get to me; stare at them back . . . judge them too, point out their flaws . . . They hate that :)

Most of the times, I pull away to avoid confrontation. However, when I regain my composure I face them and I let my head high. I want them to know that these bullyings will not intimidate me. At times too, I pretend that I did not see them or hear them. Maybe in time they would be tired of bullyings already. I think these people have no peace of mind and have small minds too I mean some kind of immaturity. It is such a pity on them. Thanks vernac!

Avoiding confrontation doesn't mean we are coward, sometimes this is the best thing to do to keep ourselves in peace. But usually these bullies will come back and do it again thinking we would still do the same;avoid. Standing up against them will make them think twice next time we meet them.

Yah, during my school days (teenage years) I often encountered these kind of people (mostly women)
They will look at you from head to toe and give you a grin or laugh with their other friends.
But now as I grow older, I do not mind people who look at me that way.
I just held my head high and walk away from them.
