how to promote my blog for free

Recently I started working on a new blog. Now l want some traffic for the same. I dont want to spend money on its promotions. I want to promote it for free and my question is how can I do it?

You may submit your blog to different search engines and blog directories. You may take help of the Traffic Exchange sites. You may visit others' blogs and sites, make your comments with mention of your blog's URL address so that others are attracted to it.

Other then what DoctorDidi has mentioned you can join some Group on the Facebook and share your blog links by which you will get automatically traffic to your blogs.

Is there any group for bloggers in Facebook? How one can join it? Or what Group on the Facebook do you suggest to join for promotion of one's blog and in which way?

You can promote your blog links on some social networking site like Facebook and Twitter. Plus you can also publish your blog links on some forum and on free traffic sites.

I am also a blogger struggling to get views on my new blog. I tried promoting on social networks like facebook and twitter but I only get one or two views. It's really very hard to get views especially if the blog is new and doesn't have a lot of contents in it.

you are right. Its very difficult to drive traffic to new blogs. Even if you have good contents its not easy to get traffic to the blog.

share it on Facebook, at least your friends can see it and ask them to help you promote your blog.
