I hate to hear kids say that they are bored. With all the old and new school things for kids to do, how could they ever be bored. Read a book, draw, watch tv, go outside and play, use the computer, clean your room, schoolwork, play with your toys, play with your sisters and brothers, use your imagination, etc. Some kids always want to be entertained. How often do you take your kids to the park, museum, movies, school events, on vacation, etc? How do you keep your kids busy?

i remember the old days,we didnt think about being bored. We were all the time outside..My 2 granddaughters hardly ever say they are bored. They stay outside playing and if its raining then they may be on the computer or drawing..Usually drawing..They love the outside....playing hula hoop.riding bikes, swinging, chasing each other, jumping rope..it's good to see them outside.

Hi
I think todays kids get bored easily. They get what ever they want and they have many options as well when compared to previous generations.
Its very difficult to entertain them.Try to give them some creative work which takes quiet sometime to complete. This may work.

I remember when we were kids my dad used to asked us to rewrite and choose an article from the newspaper and write it on an intermediate pad paper to practice handwriting and giving us money in return depending how much paragraphs we write down- maybe you can also try that to your kids
