Hi all! It is a rainy day here and it's Divisional Playoff Weekend in the NFL (love my football even though my STEELERS didn't make it!!!). In between watching the games, I will be reading. I just started "Poseidon's Arrow" by Clive Cussler. Just curious to see what everyone is reading...

Man, the Bronco lost to the Ravens and my husband is all bummed about it, lol! Well, I just got ehre and getting acquainted to the game so I don't have any team in particular. But last night, I think it's funny watching them get all worked up for the game.
Anyway, today, I plan to scrape some ice off my car and then go back to John Grosham's "The Summon".
Happy weekend!

Believe me, as a STEELERS fan I was NOT HAPPY the Ravens won. I despise those ratbirds...lol! I feel for your husband...it's a bummer when the team you're rooting for makes it to the playoffs and then loses. There's always next year, right? At least that's what people tell me. I read "The Summons" and it was a really good book. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did. Happy weekend to you also. Thanks for the response!

Recently finished "Speak" by Laurie Halse Anderson. It was a very good book. I recommend it to anyone (14+). My brother who's 21 loved it and my grandmother who's 67 loved it, so it really is for all ages. The movie was alright, but the ending was a little different than the ending of the book.

"Speak"...is that the movie with Kristen Stewart? If so, then I've seen it. I did not know it was a book. I may have to check that out. Thank you for the response MaylaJay!
