Since the first time I bough laptop, I thought that my laptop specifications are enough for my uses. I still not planning to change my laptop with better specifications. I think instead of changing to a new laptop, another efficient alternative is by upgrading my laptop RAM and hard disk. But, I don't know how to do it. Is it possible to upgrade my laptop RAM and hard disk?

First of all, the decision to whether a hardware upgrade or a completely new system depends largely on what you want to do with it. Let's say that your computer is used for works that involves a lot of graphical works and there is a need of faster processors too, then it would be best for you to buy a new ,computer. An upgrade on hard disk is useless unless it is more space that you are looking for, or a faster pace at file transferring. An upgrade on RAM is only needed if you run applications which requires a lot of memory or if your insatisfaction is solely related to the insufficient of memory such as lag and hanging.

You can get a new RAM. Just take out the existing one and see its model number. My boyfriend said he got his for $20. Just research online. There are sites talking about how to upgrade Ram.

It is very possible, you just bring it to the service center and pay them with a direct full service and just let them upgrade it

You can upgrade your hard disk by having assistance from a computer technician on computer shops and have your CPU be installed with another upgraded memory.
However, you can also do memory upgrade by buying an external hard drive which is far more simple to process because usually it is just plug and play.
