i am a college student take intermediate algebra for the 2nd time last semester i worked my but off in the class but still ended up with a D. so i was wondering if anyone has any tips for studying.

there are no shortcuts in studying effectively. one must spend time, energy and effort to do well in studies. what i can say is that try to find a time where you are most receptive and active. knowing this time will facilitate the digestion and understanding of what you read. then, try to have a buddy or group where you can consult for clarification and checking.
