Yesterday was a busy day for me. I have to prepare breakfast, I have to clean my room, do the laundry. I don’t know what to do next. It was weekend I was about to relax and sleep all day.
Have you tried eating while you are cleaning? Well, I did it yesterday doing many things at the same time.
Even though how hectic our schedule breakfast is still important that we don’t wanna miss.

I think we all have learned to multitask in this day and age. We are such a "fast paced" society now. Everything we do, is super fast. Going to the gas station, we get to pay outside at the pump whereas when I was a little girl whenever we went to the gas station it took 20 minutes. They checked our oil, cleaned our windows and checked our washer fluid. Now we're in and out in 5 mins or less.
I might start the dishwasher, get a load of clothes going and throw some dinner in the crock pot and have all three going while I go and vacuum the floor with the vacuum cleaner. We sure do have it easy these days.

Thanks Arieles. Yeah I guess multitasking is part of our daily activities. Great to hear that I'm not alone!
Thanks for sharing your idea!

i really can't do to many things at once. i get confused and then things start getting really stressed out and cloudy. it's not a good thing for me to do. i just have to handle things one at a time.

Yes, breakfast is the most important meal of the day.
It supplies us with all the energy for us think and do
our task. Glad to know that you have accomplished so
much during the weekend. We also did some cleaning of
the store room as Chinese New year is coming.

I love to do many things at the same time, right now I am cooking the food for me, and also I am working on one another website also. It all comes through experience I think, what you say?

Although many women I knew always say "men can't multi-task" I beg to differ, if you could see how I elegantly brush my teeth and manage to put on my socks at the same time you'd understand!
I've read somewhere online that you can have like +/- 7 things on your mind at one time but you give most of your focus to one thing so if you are multitasking one thing gets the most attention. That's probably why when you're on the computer and texting at the same time, you usually end up forgetting the texting a lot :)
Pretty interesting stuff!

good day litvillegas,
what you have done is called multi-tasking. and i am always doing that here in our home since we do not have a helper nor maid to assist as. so, there were really times that i am cooking while doing the laundry since i am using a washing machine or doing the laundry while cleaning the room. the scenario is always like this so as a result, i sometimes get annoyed with the situation. however, it is just my outlet as i can't do anything to change for it.

Moms, I think are the greatest multi-taskers in the world! I always do things at the same time, well, it saves me time so I could Mylot right after I am done with the chores. SO it is usually, cooking, doing the laundry and mopping thee floor as the usual combination of tasks that I do. It is a bit tiring, but I consider it as my form of exercise as well.

This is the era of multitasking..During my last year exams of my university, the syllabus was so massive, that I don't have time even for eating food. I have to eat while my mind and eyes are on book. Those days were really hectic.

No,I have never tried to do things at the same time except on the occassions when I can do so.For example, participating in Mylot.Today internet is slow.I logged on to Mylot, but it was taking time.So I left it,and went to the market to buy vegetables. The vegetable vendors sit just in the proximity of our house. It takes you not more than five minutes to go there, buy vegetables and return back.By the time I returned,Mylot was accessed. It's an exception, otherwise I have never tried to do more than one work at the same time.Even multi tasking on the internet is something I can't do.

I have tried to multi-task at work. But it's a hit and miss. Sometimes I do well, sometimes I tend to fall short just because my thoughts are scattered and my concentration is on different things. I think it's good while you're excelling in it but it can get really bad if not managed properly.

yes i multi task everything i can. the only thing I can not multi task is my work itself because my work needs full attention and details. Multi tasking really accomplishes a lot. I eat while reading different discussions. while chewing I think of good response then i type. I am good at multi tasking.

I must admit I do tend to do things at the same time I work long hours and so does my partner so I tend to do a lot of the cooking and cleaning in my house. There is nothing wrong with a bit of multi tasking as we all get busy from time to time so we have to do things quickly. I find I'm multi tasking all of the time I like to watch television and complete my surveys online so I can earn extra money. I think everybody does a bit of multi tasking from time to time as everybody tends to lead busy lives
