Wow, I am real surprised that you haven't had more responses from the woman here jumping all over you for asking such a silly question. I'm a woman and I have been doing things on my own for years...including raising 4 children. I did not get hardly any support from my ex and I was not on welfare and we got by just fine. I know so many women that are making it on their own without the support of men in their lives. In fact many women support their men which is something I would refuse to do unless it was for a real good reason or a temporary thing such as being laid off etc. We are way way stronger than you seem to give us credit for.

Modern woman are now more educated, have jobs, and some even have their own business. Most of them can't take care of themselves
