Girls, which country are you from and when is you prom?

Yes. I still remember when I was in highschool. I just choose the dress what I like that would fit me and that is it. Sometimes my mom was the one who would choose a dress for me. By the way, I am from Philippines.

I'm from Hungary, and prom... well, it's really diverse in my country. It's not like proms in the US. It's not like a huge school-leaving party... in our "prom", we usually have a little event/fest for our families. We get a ribbon stuck on our clothes, which have the ending and finishing years on, then we dance (usually a waltz, a Hungarian folk dance and a class dance), and there are other acts by lower-grade students... After that we go partying, if we want to. In my country, there are some schools, where you can attend the whole prom part in a dress you want to, but in my school, when we weren't in our dance clothes, we had to wear a semi-unform. of course, we could wear whatever we wanted for the afterparty, but none of us opted for a really puffy US-prom-like dress, because we went to a place which wasn't rented for us, just a normal club, so we wore either nice, simple mini dresses or comfortable clubbing clothing.
