if you could change something from your past

i just saw this movie "Looper" starring bruce willis and joseph gordon levitt. it has the time travel element where willis goes back 30 years to help prevent an incident that would kill his wife. it's an action movie so expect a lot of killing and explosions. then i realized if 30 years from now time machine would be invented, i would probably go back to my high school days to correct my attitude back then. i hurt a lot of people and if i only humbled myself, then everything would've been better. if you could go back to the past, what would you change?

I have a lot of things to fix from my past. If I would go to my past, well, I would aim higher in my highschool and college days. I would study hard and serious about it. I would not look on boys and got a crush on them because that is a big distraction in my studying. Maybe if that would happen to me, maybe I am now a successful animator. Gosh. If only time machine is true, I am going to fix it all.

Well to rectify my biggest mistake , i would like to go back around 10 years ago, Were i was asked my school football team, captain and coach to play in a semi final of a inter school football competition. In that competition we used to have 3-4 matches in a day. I just had played a quarterfinal 2-3 hours ago and i felt i couldn't may be last the whole semi final match. So i decided against playing it. To my regret the person who was sent for me, just played an own goal in the starting 10 minutes. He was substituted with me and we lost that match to that own goal. The captain blamed me for the failure ,and i know i have let the whole team down. I would be too happy if i could change that

oh that really was sad when people blame you for the loss.

hi there iluvusabado, if i will be given a chance, i would love to go back to those times when i was living together with my bestfriend. that during those times, i was not able to express all my love and concern to our friendship. though i take care of everything but it is not my best. and i want to go back to those years wherein we are living together. how i just wish, one fairy could help me to go back to that time.

It's hard to say since as a young child you have nothing to choose or decide. I don't know if I would change anything since this decision you can only make after you had the experience(s). A lot of things in my life went wrong, were terrible but I survived it all. Might be I would take revenge on the people who did treated me and my children (and make us suffer and pay for them for years) after all.

people learn from their mistakes and that's what makes us stronger. what doesn't kill you makes you stronger, that's what they say. i'm just sad with what happened to you and your family. some people are really like that.

There are some things that I assume now I could've done better or some decisions that proved to be wrong. I trusted people that I shouldn't trust, I spend too much time sleeping and I didn't learned enough in high-school. But you can't change just one thing, and all the rest to be the same. If you change something, no matter how small it is, all the rest will probably be different. I was thinking sometimes about decisions and how much they affect us (and there is also a great movie about, I totally recommand it - Mr. Nobody). Anyway, back to the subject, I wouldn't take the risk to change anything, because I am content now with my life, and I have the opportunities to focus on whatever I want. Oh, I will totally not do anymore 6 years of piano, being aphonous. This was a completely waste of time.

i agree with you that if you change something from the past, lot of things would also change. it's like a domino effect. what you are now would also be different. glad that you're contented with your life now.

Ok what would i change if i went back in time 30 years. I think i wouldn't be born yet because im only 16, but if I go back mybe a couple of years i would start playing basketball when i am still 6 years old and tell my father to sign me in a basketball club and start training. if that happend i would bw playing basketball for 11 years offically in a club and my performance would be really good and maybe the best young player. But its really hard imaging that because sometimes i say to myself "why the hell didn't i start really young" but for now i'm good with the five year experince in basketball, still better than nothing and i'll have to keep training harder to be the best almost :p

good luck to your basketball training. nothing is impossible if you really work hard for it.

I might have applied myself better in school had I known what was wrong with me. Maybe my teachers could have helped me instead of thinking I'm simply a stupid person who doesn't put forth any effort. I wouldn't let people discourage me from doing the things I really wanted to, just because they had failed at it.

I won't change anything from my past. Maybe I will apologize to those people that I've hurt in the past but won't change what is done. My past gives me a lot of good memories and helps me to become a better and stronger person.

I would go back and encourage myself. I would stop myself from being so depressed and from making mistakes because of it.
