Yes, you used the right word - blasted. It wasn't just hitting the ball. The two of them literally tore apart the English bowling. It was more due to them that the Indians could post such a huge total. I think it is after a long long time that India has managed to reach that total in ODIs batting first and that has also helped India win the match. I actually was not able to see that batting performance, but I was glued to the internet and was aware of the ball by ball developments. I am now watching the highlights of the Indian batting on YouTube. It's really something heartening. How they blasted the England bowling can be said from this - Dhoni scored 72 runs in 66 balls with the help of seven fours and two sixes. Ravindra Jadeja remained not out on 61. He also hit two sixes and eight fours. He took only 37 balls to score these runs. That largely made it possible for India to score around 100 runs in the last 10 overs. That was something very special for all the Indian fans.

I have not seen match but from news I came to know that both of them both of them played better and both blasted both of them were fire.

Hi nishant, Yes it was very good hitting by both Jadeja and MS Dhooni. It was not easy pitch to bat on but both of these players stayed on pitch for some time before they started to blast. Both were in form batsman and they didnt play irresponsible shots but proper cricketing shots and thus why they were able to do it.

Nishant, It was absolutely deliteful to watch them bat. Both were like on fire but Jadeja for the first time showed what he is. No wonder he was sold for 10 crores of ruppes in the IPL even though he was not even in Indian squad at that time. Today he has shown that that money was not a fluke and he really deserved that money in IPL.
