yes, they say it can take you to a world. there were a lot of good movies about reading and encouraging children to read. the Inkheart, Neverending Story and so on.. Yes. reading is worth while. in mylot we read too, we read discussion and if we are thorough with our responses..we search and read further about the topic. At least that's what I do.

It is definitely true that reading provides a joy unlike any other. I usually read books to learn something new. A language, an art or anything else that is informative or helps me look at something in a new light. And then there are times when I feel tired and want to escape the reality. That's when fiction novels come to my rescue. The best ones are so well written that in addition to the beauty of the story, the thing that makes me wonder is the kind of effort and determination the author must have shown to produce something like this.
Reading expands your knowledge, your mental horizon, and your vocabulary too. There really are not many things as rewarding as reading high quality stuff.

Reading is fundamental. There are so many advantages to reading everyday. Reading will take you places you have never been, it improves your vocabulary as well as your creativity. You develop a greater self esteem and learn about other cultures. You become smarter! Books will give you something to talk about (subjects). Books are portable, so you can learn anywhere and it's cheap entertainment.
My kids read an hour every morning, and I can tell you during that one hour, I never hear these words "Mom, I'm bored!" You can change your life just by reading a book.

Yes reading is a leisure but sadly a taken-for-granted-activity these days. There's a lot of history that gets distorted in the media, but you can scrutinize these things once you get reading. It's true that reading can liven one's imagination. But it can't teach us all about life. Some of the most important things in life can't ever be learnt by book. But the lessons that the people of past and us can be passed on by their and our writings...which are read by us and the future generation.

yes I am interested of reading books and it is a good thing to improve our knowledge and our vocabulary also. You know one thing some time my mother scolds me when I bring some books because I don't do anything till I finish those books.
