why cant we be practical

why is the world so hypocritical or impractical why cant we be practical and accept facts as they are, accept the ground level reality's than struggle for a Utopian situation, why do we believe in secularism, say, we all know its highly impractical, giving people right to promote, propagate their religion, is kind of pushing people onto war field and enjoying as they fight to win the battle, and prove their religion is great.

so, whats the "practical" thing too do then? Just not express, celebrate, acknowledge any religion at all? The right too promote ones religion is not the problem, the problem is crazy people who get it in their heads that they must kill for their religion. Any god that has his followers kill for him is no god at all.
