I have had a store on etsy. right now it's not current as I haven't been able to update it at all....but I have never sold a thing. I know if you are determined you can probably sell your quilts. I just don't have time to do all it requires.

I have the time, I just have to find the buyers! This consignment store in town charges me 20% of the sales price. If I do it on line.. I have to cover listing fees, postage fees ($15 min USPS)and dealing with the buyer... and Id have to up the price to cover all of those things..so 20% isn't that bad. Yes, I'd have more shoppers online, but doesn't mean they'd be buying more. In this store, the buyer can touch it and see it "for real" and not just pictures of it..which adds to the urge to buy.
I am planning on making them all year and if I have enough near the holiday, get a booth at a craft show someplace...but I want to try to sell all year long!

I would like to know about this too. I first heard of etsy a few years back I believe and I think I might give it a go and sell some of my own homemad things. Would be a great experience!
