Surprise snow

Today I woke my kids up for school and was on my way to getting them prepared to leave. I pulled up the blinds and saw all this snow! I was totally surprised... No school. Then my mom says, "Oh, you decided not to send the kids to school?" As if I was about to do that. I told her it wasn't my decision. I guess I missed the weather forecast or something. Was anyone else totally taken aback by the weather this morning? Have you ever been totally oblivious to the weather or the time until the last minute? Doesn't it feel crazy?

Surprise snow can either be good, if you like snow, or horrible! For me, any snow is horrible! I detest snow. Yes I know what it is like to be over whelmed by that ttoo.

I have heard stories from the eastern side of the country. I do not live there I live on west coast. I feel for you, getting strange snow any time mother nature wants to be evil.

Yeah, I had heard that about two days ago, it was colder in California than in Connecticut. Some people weren't even wearing jackets in Connecticut, while the stars at the awards show in California were trying to stay warm in their cute little dresses. But today Connecticut is covered in snow. Weird how the weather is just becoming unpredictable.

I remembered an incident, it was my 15th birthday and I had planned a lot of things. I was going to throw a party to all my friends. I was going to take them to a famous restaurant to let them eat anything they wanted and I was going to take them to a theater to watch a new movie. I was going to bring all of them to a friends farm to play music and dance all night long. I had planned a lot. And when it was evening and I was just going to step out of my house I discovered that it was raining. Well, the rain washed away all my plans and I finally had to party in my sweet home.
