Well one of my worst fears is being realized and I knew that with my history and the fact of there being 5 children sooner or later one of them would have the same issue. Next month my 8 old year old son who is also autistic is going for an evulation and be fitted for braces for his feet. I have scolosis in my back a very bad case of it doctors are amazed that Im even walking they said that as bad as my spine is I should be in a wheel chair. I have severe balance issues because of it and a lot of problems with my feet. I can remember when I was little my grandma started to taking me to the doctor and got me fitted for braces and spent hours upon hours working with me making me walk and teach me how to walk straight. Then my mom got mad and acted like a child like she always does and put a stop to my grandma doing all this for me. She never followed through with my medical care like she told my grandma she would and as a result I have suffer today because of it. I promised myself and God I would never do this with any of my kids. I suspected issues with his feet for awhile now so finally I took him to the doctor and he is going to the specialist next month. He's having some major issues over it of course some of his acting out is the autisim he doesnt understand things completely. So I try to leave the subject alone until next month when he's goes to the specialist and hopefully he will see that it's not that bad. I've worked with special needs children and have seen some of the newer braces they are nothing like the used to be so hopefully this will ease his fears.

Thank you, Jalucia I am not sure yet as the specialist next month will determine that. It's mine and the doctors hope that if he starts wearing them now and wears them like the specialist orders which more than likely will be during the day hopefully as he grows it will correct the problem.
