There are so many boarding schools in our country, some are Governmental which I know like, "Sainik Schools", Jawahar Navodaya Schools" etc. The students has to clear the entrance exams to study in these schools, and then they live there in the hostel from the age of 11 years. They are disconnected from a family and social life, for them their society is the school children and the teachers only.
There are rules and time for everything, so they live a life which is like a life of a soldier. There is no mother father and sister, but only friends/classmates, seniors and juniors, and teachers. In older days there were Gurus and pupils, they also learned this way but is it worth to sacrifice your social and family life to learn the literal and moral education?
I felt something odd after I joined the other students from the society at the college level. I think they had more social skills than me. What do you think about it?

I think that for some kids this is a good learning experience. But for other kids it could really be to their detriment. Some kids are very social and need that interaction while others are nerdy and are just studying anyway. So it depends.

You are right some kids are very much social and they need the environment where they can talk to others, like his relatives and the other peoples everywhere but when they are boarded in the boarding school he has to close up his area and the people, which suppresses his real desire. It is okay that it is a new experience for them but somewhere I feel that the person could be more productive in an environment where he is given more freedom.

We also have boarding schools here, either private and government.
Back in my junior days at school, I stayed in a private boarding house away from my family.
There is a big difference staying in a private boarding and government or school boarding houses.
I choose a private boarding house wherein I have more freedom compared to government and school boarding houses.

I think it is here in my country but they are not much famous in the rural areas. They may be in the urban areas which are not much in India because most of the population lives in the rural areas.
I am happy that you got much more freedom, because it is really important to have the freedom to some extent.

I think that is a good quality which the people living at the boarding schools get in them and that is to become independent. Thanks for sharing.

Perhaps the boarding schools are better for the students than a boarding school There are pros and cons to living in a boarding school, if it is a good school, it can be a very good experience. It does depend on the school.
They may indeed have more social skills that you do. But you can still develop good social skills when living with your parents. Just speak kindly and politely to others, this will help you with your social skills. Also, don't be afraid to say hello first towards others.
They may have more social skills but they lack the family bond that you have. So, there are pros and cons to living at a boarding school. Just be your best.

Yeah that is true, it depend upon the school too and every school has its own pros and cons, like there is a definite time table for study hours. At home there are a lot of distractions because there are relatives other functions, or the other works at home, but that itself has its own pros and cons again. Once the child is in boarding school it largely depends on the school.

I've joined a very nice university in my country. I have many friends from all around the world there. It was President University. The most challenging and enjoyable time for me and especially for my overseas friends was when we must finishing our citizenship subject by undergoing half time of all of the total lecture time by finding children to teach English and math lesson by free. The children love use and they even still remember us until the got graduation from their senior high school. The socializing to public is making as more meaningful, but being quarantined makes us become more less socializing. I don't like a school that have no interaction to social life. We all need to be more socializing in our life if we would like to know what are meaningful things in social. To study something is to be meaningful for many people. So, it is better to enter a more socializing school.

That is a good job to carry side by side while studying. Even in our college there was a group who provided free literacy to the children living in the huts around the area. I was not able to do this because I think I was not going to be get selected in the group. Now I think that I should have done it. It was a good practice. This is the one thing that I regret to not have done in my college life. I appreciate you for what you did.
