I want to loose 10 - 30 pounds. I am at 150 pounds, and want to be a little smaller, I am fine with my size, as it fits me, but I have a little fat I could spare. I just want to feel healthy, not the fact of looking good. My doctor says once I finish the iron infusions, I should start too loose some as with low iron it goes up and down.

No at the moment (well that moment is already some years) I am not happy with my weight. Fact is I am taking prednisone and this doesn't make me slim at all. In the past years I had to raise the amount I am taking. There was only 1 year I was able to do without but after the malerone nearly killed me I have to take it again and I am also not able to control my allergies anymore. I am trying a new lifestyle now because the weight is too much for me, my skin is not able to "stretch" anymore so it's getting thorned too. I doubt one can loose weight slowly or fast. My digestions is sooo slow I already eat very less. I am trying now to eat as less toxic food, only home made, fruit and vegetables mainly (no wheat anymore), no transfat, etc. I hope this will work but also will end my allergies and over active immune system. I hope to loose about 14-15 kilo but by now I already know I probably won't make it. I am 175 cm tall and, weight now about 72 kg.

For the past few months, I have been exercising more often and drinking more tea. Overall, I have also gotten thinner. Although I have been losing weight and gaining weight. I have lost about 10-15 pounds. It takes a lot of commitment to exercise at least 5 days a week. But I give a lot credit for my friends supporting me by accompanying me to the gym or jogging on their free time.

My problem is i'm very thin. My weight very light weight. My weight just only 47kg and my height is 180 cm. My goal is i want my weight around 60kg to 65kg so i need to gain my weight. It is not good if very thin because my muscle not strong to carry heavy things.

Well, congrats on the weight loss.Thats really remarkable and wonderful.Well,i weight 240 at this moment.Yep i am big and i am trying to lose my weight and well i need to bring it down to 170 mark which should be perfect for me.I have been inconsistent so far with my efforts to bring it down.I sometimes struggle with choices of food although i eat only once a day.I do run atleast an hour on an average. There are days i have run for 3 or 4 hours. My upper body has been a trouble compared to lower body. There are times i am self conscious and feel bad about self. There are time self-confidence or self-esteem has been low for me and that has not been great.Hopefully i would get them fixed as soon as i lose oodles of weight.I have not gone for gym or dietician.Somehow i never find time and space for important things.Stress has also been not great on me as well with the things.Hopefully, i too should bring it to the perfect weight. Thanks and your story might give me inspiration to start things once gain properly. It was good to hear about you.

Hi laken02, I would be happy with my weight if I could lose weight of a single lb If so I don't have any excessive fat on my belly. It would look decent no matter what clothes I put on I refrain from taking too much sweet and oily food. I dare to take a little dark chocolate daily. I wonder why the dark chocolate tastes sweet yet even no added sugar shown on its wrapper. Cheese cake is another favorite dessert and I take it once in a while to fulfill my appetite to avoid from gaining unwanted weight. To maintain ideal weight I do my best to have physical exercise about half an hour daily. Happy posting

hi there laken02. i'm at 150 pounds right now and personally, this is where i want to be. however, after consulting with my trainer, it was determined that my ideal weight is at 115 pounds! well, it's been a very long time since i was at that weight. the last time i was at that weight was when i was in college, i was 110 pounds at that time. anyway, right now, its not so much the weight that i'm looking at but the body fat percentage. my current body fat percentage is at 26% down from 28% last august. my ideal body fat percentage is 12% so i have a long way to go. i do admit though that i still check my weight every morning and i'm happy that my 'dry weight' is still at 150 pounds. i've maintained that weight since last year so i'm happy although i'll be a lot happier if i start to see my weight below 150 pounds. cheers and happy mylotting!!!

I have always been a big boy, so I have always been heavy. I didn't like it at first because I was always talked about but then I played football, and started lifting weights (mainly because I was involved in a car accident). I was getting bigger, heavier, and stronger from all of the stuff that I was doing because I also worked jobs moving heavy stuff all day. I crossed 300 pounds when I was 21, and freaked out, but I also was getting really strong, really fast. At my biggest, I came in at 5'9" and depending on the scale 353-357, and I'm not exaggerating. While this would freak a normal person out, I actually felt good, because it was also here where I had the most strength, didn't get injured or sick, and was the most confident. I did refrain from telling people my weight because it would only start a lot of negative discussion, and I didn't want to hear it. Ironically, the same people who talked about my weight and how big I was, and how much food I was eating (my appetite was expensive), these were also the same people who used me for my strength to literally do the heavy lifting because they knew I was strong as an ox, if not stronger. Now, I am 297 pounds and while one would feel great about the weight loss, I don't like how I lost it, which was due to a large amount of stress and not being able to afford food. I didn't like the fact that I even lost weight in the first place because it wasn't planned. And because of how I loss the weight, I lost quite a bit of muscle mass and strength. I'm still quite strong, but not the monster I once was, and that is my goal to get that back. I like the big size and strength because no one dares pick a fight with a gorilla, and I like doing things that normally take two or more people. And I like that I can eat a lot of food.

I need to lose to m much weight, but that is all I am going to say about that. I need to cut back on what I eat, that is for sure. Instead of eating food loaded with sugar, I am starting to snack on veggies. I bought some celery sticks, and baby carrots. Once I start eating them, I can't stop, and I guess that I is a good thing. Taking in fruits and veggies everyday, should help, I hope. Have fun and take care.

I started to lose weight and looking at the progress everyday inspires me to lose more. I lost 5 kilos in two weeks time after reducing my carbohydrates intake. Here in our country, rice is our common meal so I resort to other option not to starve and keep me healthy. I measure my rice in-take and restrict to one meal a day and eat more fruits. Drinking herbal tea also helps me a lot. I wish to lose 5 kilos by the end of this month and I am good with it.

I would personally like to lose as lot of weight and I did try to do it the wrong way but my husband was looking out for my well being and didn't allow that that to happen. I was right where I wanted to be when I got out of high school but the I got pregnant. after I had her I was determined I would lose that weight. it was working for me and then I got pregnant with my second daughter. after that I just never seem to have the time. I mean I am a very active person and most days I am always on the go. I would prefer to work out or walk more but maybe I can do that next year when both kids are in school and not just one of them.
