Different religions with thousands of believers is constantly increasing. Thousands if not Millions of people are becoming interested in reading the bible. Some says that the advent of numerous believers is an omen that the end of the world is an inevitable and just recently one of them announced the end of the Earth on 2012. To date here we are breathing the fresh air and enjoying the beauty of our world. Who are they? what really are their motives? Was it for joy? compassion or merely just for a living.

The evidence we have which is based on scientific investigations which indicate that barring the earth getting hit by a very large object from space the earth will come to and end in about 4.5 to 5 billion years when the sun runs out of fuel. All the rest of the nonsense like god says this and god says that can be ignored as this "god" thing only exists in peoples minds not in the real world.

The respect for GOD is a respect due to anything valued by our neighbors. The attack to the right, belonging and most specially his perspective or principle in life is an attack to him as a person and usually retaliate war if not a serious misunderstanding. Nobody can explained thouroughly our existence so I just ruled out all what is happening as part of life, respect others so they will respect you. Some say, Do unto others what you want others to do unto you but do it first. If you hit me, I will hit you but if you love me, I will love you. We will just hope every religion if fo a good purpose for mankind.

There are many religions and many religious people but few who practice what Jesus taught. Followers of Christ do not expect it to be any different. He said that few would be on the narrow road that leads to life. As for the end of the wicked world, it is getting closer but it will come as a thief, unannounced when we least expect it. So let us keep on the watch!

If Jesus couldn't unite people when he was on earth, how could we? We are not robots. Some of us choose to do what God tells us to do and some choose to do their own will. Jesus said that there are two roads, one leads to destruction with many on it and one leads to life with few on it. He also said that many would say Lord,Lord but he will not recognize them because they are not doing the will of God. All those that want to do the will of his way, will eventually unite. All those that are against God will also eventually unite and then God will remove them from the earth.

Maybe it is also nice if we try to analyze of what do they mean GOD? and why other people don't believe in what is called GOD? so what will be the point of having many kind of religions?. What was the status of nations who don't believe as compared to those nations who believe that GOD exist who got the edge when it comes to economy and technology. Among the nations who are against and in favor where do you want to go and enjoy life for a living?

While waiting, we must also prepare ourselves. I would like to air my my observation.
If GOD is our creator and we can also be a creator by making robots or anything we want to create our own. We feel very satisfied if the robot can do things for us just as we program them. GOD give us right thinking and give us our Earth to lived. Are we not responsible of our actions ? why do we not move as one and do something for GOD our creator to be happy rather than concentrating on debates about religions. We are happy when the robots created by us are doing the work for us.

It is a case of misinterpreting the Bible. The Bible says that the gospel should be preached to the ends of the Earth and then the end will come. It also says that the end will not come until all the believers are found, that is, not until they are lifted to heaven, but that all who take Jesus as their Savior are identified. So that would mean that there might be several tiny babies who God has chosen as HIS elect, but of course, unless some die in infancy, the others have to grow up enough to accept Christ as their Savior.
The thing is that only God knows when the end of this EArth will come. And no one knows when all the elect are complete if earth is in the throes of an evil dictator who goes and kills Christians or if we are having peace and quiet.

Yeah maybe, they misinterpret the bible. I also think otherwise for I believe whatever happened today is with GOD permission All these things is with a purpose.

That is true. Sometimes the prophets spoke about an event a few hundred years in the future, and not the end of the world. And if one does not know what to look for, one may jump to conclusions. So one may assume that the Bible is talking about the future when the chapter could be talking about an event that happened a few hundred or less years after the prophet wrote about it.

That, make this topic interesting, a person knew what really happened for he was there when it happened, like illegal mining, logging by cutting trees without permit. In the future if there will be a landslide then he will associate it with the acts of GOD.

The end of the world in 2012 was not from the bible, and as you see we are all still here.
The bible says that no one will know the day or time when Jesus returns, but it also says that if you watch for the signs you will know the season.
I believe that we are in the season, many of the signs that the Bible talks about are happening right now at a rapid pace.

what i have done to prepare. I started off by accepting Jesus Christ as my Savior. Picked my bible back up and started reading it again, Praying every day for God to open my eyes so i can see. Started to pay attention to what is happening around the world and talking about it so others are aware of what is going on. because God said that we would see the signs. I have also started living my life in a way that God wants us too.
I do not know how soon it will happen, but i do believe that we are the generation that it will happen in. if the 3rd wold war starts...if their is peace in Israel, the closer we get to the one world government....Storms, earthquakes, natural disasters getting worse, and happening closer together. Seas around the world have started turning red like blood....Evil taking over every where. all these things are happening more and more everyday.
I am just beginning to learn more and more, and with Gods help i will be prepared for the return of Jesus Christ.

So, what do people must do in preparation? Are the religious people doing their jobs. Do you mean that in no time we will banish together.

hello there!
on my own opinion, no one really knows when the world will end.it is already explained if you happen to watch national geographic or discovery channel., that it is only the mayan calendar that ended and it only happened on dec.21,2013. some of us is just making it a big fuss just to be the talk of the town or to some to earn money out of it.

I used to make jokes with my friends about the end of the world, there was no doubt in my mind that the world was not going to end in 2012, earth is hell and heaven all rolled up into one with hell being more dominant out of the two so why would everything end.

I'm sorry to say that most of us haven't been breathing fresh air for a while now with all this pollution. The person who said the world was going to end because of what he had seen in the Bible was only doing it for money. The money came from people who were told it would help to warn others. The thing with the world ending on December 2012 had nothing to do with the Bible but to do with the Mayan calendar.

Thanks, almost everywhere now is polluted. In what you say there was logic. So religion has nothing to do with that prediction but publicity if not money. What a pity for the believers. We just hope even if there will be millions of organization related to religion, they will maintain peace among them.

No one really knows the exact date of the end of the age. Only God the Father knows it and that is written in the Bible. However, the signs of the end of the age are visible nowadays and it is written too in the Bible. We should be watchful and pray as God commanded us.

True, we must be watchful, but giving falls prediction is very dangerous, if a believer will dispose all his belongings and when the prediction is wrong he will start living with nothing. In our observation all religious sector is preaching good news, when it comes to what is written in the bible. However jealousy in the recruitment of members is also prevalent. Sometimes it resulted to criminal actions. Usually I can't blame myself to think, that some are only interested of publicity to hide their wrongdoings.

I thing it's their way of being above everyone else and feeling better about themselves. Think about it: the end of days comes around and Jesus comes in his glory and takes all the believers into heaven. The rest of the people have to stay around and suffer with the anti-Christ. So basically it's saying believers are better, we get to party while you die slow painful deaths. I hate that attitude.

Yeah, it is really a disgusting attitude but anyway it is still subject to be proven. As per observations some are just pretending to be a believers. I think we are all equal, in reality, all of us is just hoping for something good to happen.
