We had our first frost of the year last night so I decided today would be a good day to prune our lemon trees a little bit. But I found that there are many buds on them that will be blooming in a day or two. I hope they don't get burned by the next freeze.

I always love to see the first buds of spring time. I will hope that it won't freeze again so that way the tree can flourish and thrive for your spring!

The joy of the blooms let you experience it at least. Now if a frost comes though you will just need to wait a bit longer for them to come back.

this is the fourth spring we have had the trees, prashu and they have bloomed every spring. last year we drove some spikes designed to feed citrus trees into the ground around the bases of the trees, but no chemicals have been used. this is the first year i have pruned them.
