Recently in China an android app. called Simsimi ("Xiao Huangji" in Chinese)got popular overnight! Many of my friends talk to it on renren.com and microblog. I kind of like it, too, but I think there's something worth thinking, something wrong, and even seriously twisted. (Bad expression:()
I think this phenomenon indicates a fact that internet surfers are sometimes idling time away. They are lonely, yet they don't want to talk with their friends, and would rather talk to a "software". Why?
Isn't our phychology being kind of distorted?
I'm not good at reasoning and logical thinking, but I just feel awkward about it.

This is a great program in having fun over a question and answer service.
The best thing about Simsimi is it will reply on any language you ask the service, although they send some answers that are far hilarious it’s a good way to make a joke on shear boredom.

Well yeah, and since we can teach them the replies to our questions, it makes it more fun, cos' that means Simsim integrates the wisdom of so many people;) Sometimes it really give us surprising, unexpected answers, very cute and "smart":)

Well actually, Simsim came into existent a long time ago, the only reason it is so hot now is that
the team who made the software started to take actions in Renren to attract people and let it become more popular.
As for the phenomenon, personally I don't think people are unwilling to communicate with their real
friends, it just because the software is rather funny and interesting, like all the other computer
games! Maybe it won't take a long time for people to get bored with it.

Yes, people like it because of its funny replies. But maybe they are kind of lonely, too. Or, am I the only one who's lonely and bored?...

I think the only reason that Simsimi became popular is that its answers are very funny. :)
