Really I am beginning to hate turning on the news cause all they can talk about is Lance Armstrong. Lets all face it none of us are prefect. There was one and what did humans do to HIM they killed HIM. So the reference is none of us are prefect. We all have our faults. But the news people have gone too far with some stories. ON an on about one subject isn't there anything else to report? I want to hear something important like what is going on all over the world, not that this person or that person lied or is a thief and got arrested for stealing or is loosing a metal for lying. That isn't important to me what is important is what is really happening all over the world. I don't give a hoot what this or that famous person did or didn't do. They will have to face God for their mistakes and I will have to face God for my own mistakes. I need to watch important things. Did you all know that there are crisis all over the world. People being kidnapped and kept as hostages really things like this is important to me this really happened and think I heard that some got away but they cut in to talk about Lance Armstrongs mistakes he made many years ago. What the heck isn't there something more important to report ? What do you think about the news these days? What is going on where you live that you find important?

For the most part all people want from the news any more is celebrity gossip.I listen maybe the first time and then I am not doing it.

I agree with you but Lance is a villain here who does not even have a place in as far as celebrity is concern. He doesn't deserve it at all.

Hi GG. Me I hate hearing about these celebrities doing stupid stuff over and over. There is one that keeps going to jail for stealing I mean really if you have the money why steal why not just buy what you want? It is stupid that the law don't put these kinds of people in jail if it was you or I who stole a necklace for a couple hundred thousand dollars we would go to jail for years. So why do I want to hear about the rich getting something for nothing?

Armstrong is a current story, so it will feature heavily in the news. Don't forget he is an American cheat and it must be hard for that hero worship to be shattered... AGAIN. Thankfully we have other news in the UK - Alergian hostages, Helicopter crashes, Mali and of course the WEATHER

Hi Robspeakman and welcome to my lot. Hi Janey. I don't know why anyone has the right to know about anyones life. It is over he did it and he has confessed. I don't give a hoot what these rich people do with their lives. If that is what they want then go for it they have enough money to get themselves out of trouble. Maybe he didn't cheat but pressured into saying he did. I mean if someone kept hounding you wouldn't you say what ever they wanted to hear so they would get off your back? There is only one human I would consider my hero that is my husband and to me he is a hero he saved me from years of abuse. As for these other people they can do as they will it don't affect my life one way or the other. Now for the Alergian hostages they are heros cause of what they are going through. The helicopter crash is important cause someone might have passed on and that is something to acknowledge.

I agree that there has been way too much coverage of the Armstrong issue. But the fact is that he has brought it up on himself. It is one thing to make a mistake and then admit it. It is totally another to completely not admit it and make the ones making charges against him look evil and going after them. That is exactly what Armstrong has been doing for so long. Cheers! Ram

Hi Ram_cv. I have heard all I care to hear about him he done what he done it didn't affect my life in the least so that is why I don't want to hear any more about him. Not only him there is one movie star that keeps going to jail for stealing and stupid stuff, but they keep letting her out on probation and what does she do she steals something else. Now if that was any other human out there that didn't have the money to have a lawyer they would be sent to jail for how ever long. Why do they keep letting her out is my question why don't she go to jail like any other poor person? Cause she has money to throw away! I don't want to hear anymore about her either. I want to know things that are going on around the world so I am more informed about the important stuff. Thanks for sharing.

OK, it'a shock, maybe a big news in sports history, but... I don't even live in the US, but even in my country, it's getting on my nerves that news stations are acting like that there's nothing else, or news more interesting...

I can only say this-- Lance has been the hero. The athlete. For some reason, people expect people like him to be perfect. When they start making those "serious" mistakes, that's when there's huge shock and awe. So in that way, the media can't take their eyes off him. They expect us to feel the same way. Honestly I don't want to examine someone in such a way. I don't want to hear about it. Slap the asterisk on him and let's move right along. Nobody is perfect, but I am with you--I don't want to hear about him anymore. Or what show he's going to be on, or when Oprah is interviewing him for the lies. I'm over it!

Hi ChiVirgo and welcome to my lot. I think your right he was a hero for the good he done but there are many that can't see what good he has done for the mistake he made. It is his burden to bare and he will face God for his mistakes just like the rest of us. I wouldn't want to be judged by anyone for my mistakes and I am not going to judge him or anyone else for what they have done. Thanks for the response.
