I was making a cup of hot chocolate after work, and it being so cold. I mixed a spoonful of peanut butter.
I am heaven right now it's so delicious. I think I might do this more often, I would imagine you can add the Reese's would taste similar.
I emailed Carnation last night, as the hot chocolate containers I bought just taste like water no matter the amount of powder I use.
My friend gave me some of her hot chocolate, as she doesn't drink it and someone gave it to her for Christmas.

Hmm peanut butter in hot chocolate. I have not tried that. I have eaten peanut butter and had it on bread, but that mixing it with hot chocolate sounds like a good idea.

I love experimenting with things, to see what I like. But it taste like a Reese's cup, you can buy in the store. I have this machine, my sister bought a number of years ago for Christmas, it melts the chocolate bar, and you add milk. It's so delicious.

What has become my thing is chocolate coffee. I add a significant amount of cocoa mix into my coffee and add a little bit of milk and a serious dollop of whipped cream. It is quite delicious, but I think that I need to change things up a bit; while I am not concerned about the calories in this beverage, I am concerned about the level of sugar.

That does sounds delicious, I would have that as a treat myself.
Hatley - yes being a diabetic you need to really watch what you eat. It would be a big change for me that's for sure, seeing as I drink 1 -2 cups of hot chocolate a day during the winter. I love my sweets, I have been cutitng back on them though.

I'd never think to put peanut butter in my hot chocolate, but then, I prefer the crunchy kind.

Peanut Butter hot chocolate sounds like an interesting treat. I have not tried it. One thing I like to do on occasion is make Peanut butter toast that I will dip into the hot chocolate. It is similar.

You should try it. The toast is still crunchy with a little chocolate taste. It is healthier than reese's, that is what it reminds me of just like your suggestion.

That would sound creative for sure, the regular Kraft smooth peanut butter in hot chocolate! Mmmmm! I wouldn't try Reese's Peanut Butter Cup filling though, due to its high salt content, plus the high salt content in the carnation hot chocolate powder, it wouldn't taste all that great. I would try it if I was making homemade hot coocoa without adding the salt and just adding the reese peanut butter cup filling, that'll add the salt and flavour at the same time.
I use essential food-grade oils for flavourings. Creme de Menthe and Banana Cream are my 2 favourites for its nice creamy taste.

I find the Reese's cups are salty, I tried melting them in milk in the past, it was nice, but not something I would have all teh time. This container of Carnaton hot chocolate just tastes watery, I emailed the company as it's not tastes like it normally does.
I tried what you posted on Facebook to make hot chocolate, but with the milk my stomach was killing after, normally I use just water.

That sounds delicious! I am going to try that out. I wonder how it would taste with caramel syrup? I usually put caramel syrup, milk, and ice in my coffee and I love it. I'm sure the caramel syrup would be good with hot chocolate also :)

Yes, mixing chocolate and Peanut butter is a Great combination anytime. We mix chocolate Almond milk or soy milk with peanut butter and our weight loss protein shake mix quite often, and it is a Good combination. Why do you think Reeses is so big?

I am not a big fan of peanut butter, but I do like the creativity that you showed in trying something new. What a neat idea for peanut butter fans. I'm glad it worked out so well for you.

Sounds nice. Never thought about trying that one. I have made peanut butter cookies before and had peanut better and strawberry jam (jelly) sandwiches. Mmmm.... thinking about it I bet peanut butter and chocolate spread would be nice together.
I have tried these really nice dessert, rice balls from a Chinese buffet restaurant which had sweet, hot peanut sauce inside it. May sound strange but I thought it was really nice especially when topped with coconut. I think it was called Singapore Rice Balls or maybe Shanghai, I forgotten the exact name. It was sweet.
I reckon the peanut sauce was peanut butter.
I've had fresh strawberries with peanut butter and had some on a banana before as well. To me that tasted nice. I reckon peanut butter in chocolate brownies would taste nice too, never tried it but just thought of it just now after your hot chocolate recipe.

Today i am going to make some hot chocolate for myself. I just add some pieces of dark chocolate to the milk melt it, then add sugar and take the pan off from the heater and add coco powder and corn flour and stir it till the mixture is thick. They taste like Spanish hot chocolate. Only thing i don't have is churros with them. Yummy!
