I am not getting the word Quality.
"IS it to include higher level words in your discussion" OR "just use proper words like not using plzzz instead of please", OR "it matters on the content and topic of dicussion like following two:
1.Internet in day to day life.
2.how you spend your winters?
1st one being a formal topic and other one is normal discussion".
ANy one with answer please elaborate it properly and be decriptive.

I had initiated a discussion on quality of posts in Mylot. What I came to realize from the responses of some veteran mylotters is that a quality posts should be descriptive, interesting and understandable to others.Although our posts in Mylot are not edited,it should preferably be written in flawless English.A quality post is informative and elaborated with examples,if necessary.

I think the quality in mylot is base on your the content of your discussion, not your words.

My Lot's language is English because the site comes from America. They like detailed responses that show examples and descriptions. You have to be careful to not begin a poll type of discussion.
If I was answering a discussion about how I use the Internet in my life I would mention what I use my laptop for. I would include that I check prices on the net so it saves me money. I would discuss how I do buy some things on the Internet. I might mention how keen I was to begin on the world wide web.
In the other discussion would write which months are the winter time in my home country. Then I would discuss winter weather and why I stay tucked up indoors. I would mention some winter travels that I have done. I try to use correct spellings. My lot would not like 20 lots of "Thank you for your response".

Yes I think I have been careless towards terms and conditions,so my earning has been continuosly fluctuating because my discussions have been deleted as they were poll type.
Thanks for this, you have elaborated it to a good extent and I think you are far ahead in this site in terms of earnings and experience.

Quality posts can be good and proper English. Punctuation marks also included to have proper sentence. We can not really identify here what is quality posts on Mylot. I still like to write Mylot and gave some more replies from others.

Quality responses would be those that are about 3 or more sentences long and that is interesting and informative. Your response should be able to let others understand what you are really trying to say. One good way is by sharing your experiences that is somehow similar to the post or something most likely related to it.

Hi:
Quality of posts means one needs to be to the point while submitting his response or comments.
The response should have some sum and substance and it should be meaningful and interesting.
Use of proper grammar and correct English would surely be appreciated.

Something that you appear to be misunderstanding is that myLot is a discussion site. MyLot talk about quality discussions, not questions and answers.
When you start a topic for discussion you should then go back to the responses and add quality comments which further the topic, adding something that the responder can then comment back to.
That is how you will earn here because you earn absolutely nothing for the responses and comments that others post. They earn for those, not you.

When ti comes to quality posts, you do need to be as descriptive as possible, and it does help too, to spell out the words instead of abbreviating them. I prefer to spell out the words that way, others will understand what I am saying, and it does look nicer than the abbreviated words. I know lots of people do that to get by, but it is muc better to spell them out completely. When you post, efrain from just posting one line discussions or one word responses or comments, as you don't make much for those if anything at all. Just be specific and to the point and you will do just fine. Take care, and have a great day.

Hi Nish! I think quality here includes the length of your discussion, that it should not be less than five lines, and also we have to see to it that we limit errors as well and make sure that our discussions or topics are original and unique.

For me, quality answers for my participation in a discussion is me being as helpful as I possibly can in answering a question or giving advice.

Yes, quality refers to just about everything you mentioned. The writer should have a good command of the English language, though, I don't think anyone gets points off for not having good English skills. You want to avoid those one liner discussions, and you must read all of the do's and don't's. that will help you to create quality discussions.

I think that MyLot is a forum and not a an article writing site to consider more about gravity of content of posting in the matter of quality. It seems "Worthy" is more appropriate word than "Quality" that need consideration on the postings at MyLot.

what i like about mylot is we can have both "formal topic" and "normal discussion" as you described them, at the same time not worry too much about our english. there are discussions here that i cannot participate in because the topic is too technical or complex for me, but i still read them and learn something. i also enjoy the everyday topics because it reveals a lot about people and places from around the world.
i don't use text and internet language, but i don't worry too much about my grammar and spelling mistakes either. what's important is i try my best and make sure i'm sincere in what i'm saying. sometimes i give just 1 or 2 sentences as a response or comment but it's still different from others. sometimes very long answers just repeat what others have said, it feels like 2 very thick slices of bread but with a very thin slice of meat in the middle.

When I first log in myLot before,I started to ask different questions and also answer
it,as factual and with the regular English that is understandable by all races.I never used abbreviated words,so that no one would insult me for using such.As long as you write with the correct usage of words,no one would question your abilities to make any topics here in myLot.
