Pregnant woman commits suicide

whew that a crazy decision for the woman to do. just like you mention many people want to be a parents and yet they are not gifted or incapable while she have all the capacity and she just wasted it. if the woman already have depression those people surround her should never left her alone so she could not do anything to harm her self of her babies.

Thanks for this discussion. I have not heard any such story, the girl was not in normal state of mind probably, a normal person won't do this.

Ohhh God really mad women and you are right friend there are couples like us who have been waiting to get pregnant for a long time. We husband and wife also waiting since 9 years but God not giving me child. I dont think about girl or boy but only need child. How can mother do this only because of both are boys I think may be some other reason.

Never heard it happend because of a baby girl but plenty of women do so or try to get an abortion. This is already since ages the case. Mostly because men want a boy. Somehow I can understand it but personally I don't care although I do prefer girls. I don't think you can easily change your children or exchange them of give them away for adoption. This is not realistic. No matter what you want or try.. in the end it's Always the mother who will be blames (wrong gender, too much children, too less, too ugly being pregnant or after giving birth, not mom-alike or a bad one.. it's never the dad).

Hi friend, sad to hear about this story, really the pregnant ladies decision is a wrong one, she killed her self as well as killed two little unborn babies, it is a great sin. I never heard such kind of stories in my life

This story is horrible. What was in her mind during that time that made her decide to claim her own life just because she has twins!? Some kind of evil act, she should have very happy because it was a twin, double bundle of joy. She is in fact very lucky because there are couple who will do everything and anything just to have a baby.

Hiya jolie, She could not have been in a right state of mind at the time because we all know that most women who cannot have a child easily will go to all extremes to become pregnant. Great shame, hormones in women can become our worst enemy when we are pregnant. I knew a woman that would not even look at her baby when he was born she was in a very depressed state. Above all I think that they need help although they might not realize it. This is mostly that the hormones are all upside down and now its taken more seriously before you got frowned on if you were crying all the time after just having had your baby. This woman more than getting help which she did not get much of instead she received a lot of hostility on behalf of the nurses above all. We tried to help her out and visit her and the baby which I think did something more than all that scolding. I was quite tearful for a few days and very tired but after I got out of that oppressive place I soon bounced back again to my usual self. I was not alone in all the tension in there getting to me being a first time mom. All first time moms need extra help and attention.xxx

i am so sorry to hear that. i have a daughter and then a son , ofcourse you'll say i am lucky to have both boy and girl. but when i was peagnant again, i thought even it's a girl again, i would be happy too and woundn't try to prangnant any nore. i cannot imagine how could she do that? it's abnormal.

No, I never had read anything like this before. I think the woman did it from too much frustration or I guess there may have been another reason.

How very tragic! She shouldn't have gotten pregnant at all if she couldn't handle what she was pregnant with. Senseless deaths. I feel so sorry for the husband.

I have never read a story like that before, but then again as things in the world get worse we will see more things like this. I wonder who close her pregnancies were and maybe she was going through the baby blues.

I haven’t heard of any similar story before. I was disappointed with what the lady did. She's very selfish and thinking about herself only. I agree that when we’re blessed by a baby especially twins, we must be happy about it. We must pray for them to have a good health and not just wish that what we only want will be given to us and be disappointed if we didn’t get what we want.

This story is incredibly sad. There are those who would be willing to give anything to have a single child, and this woman was blessed with two. To kill oneself (and two others) because of such an insignificant thing as gender? It's heart wrenching. Yes, I (probably like every other woman out there who wants children some day) want a daughter eventually. But if I have a son - or two, or three - I will still be happy. I can't believe that someone would kill themselves over this.

That is so sad and crazy that that woman had to end her life for not having a baby girl. I feel sorry for her children and her husband.

No not yet. I feel pity for the twin fetus inside her womb. They never get the chance to see the beauty of the world because of their insane mother. Yeah, you are right, there are a lot of couples who are not be able to produce their own offsprings but then this women killed her babies just that easy. Well, we cannot blame her because of her condition.

That is terrible. She had this sickness called post partum depression. Some pregnant women undergo this kind of depression that they want to kill their babies for some personal reasons, etc. Maybe the mother was stressed in some things. Family support and medication are needed for this kind of sickness. However, if it is not detected earlier this may result to harming herself and her babies. What a mad sickness it is!

i think our world is very bad with this kind of stories,the questio is what are we going to do to change the way we live and think? i think we have to change first everything inside us to improve like people...
