I used to eat breakfast before. They say that breakfast is the king of the meal. When I haven't eaten breakfast I'm kind of weak the whole day. However, it really depends on one's routine too. Now, I eat around 10am or 11am together with lunch. They call it "brunch." It means having breakfast and lunch at the same time.

I donĀ“t eat breakfast early as I am not hungry the. I only have a mug of coffee. But about 10 AM I have my second coffee and then I have what I call my breakfast. Today I had 2 blueberry and banana muffins I made yesterday.

I love breakfast food but like you I don't really like eating first thing in the morning. It normally takes some time for me to want to eat. The only time I felt like eating when I first woke up has been when I've been pregnant.

Well dear you are not alone. Many people have the same eating styles, skipping breakfast. I myself was once among you. But now no more. I've learned that it is not healthy to skip breakfast. I can't sacrifice my health so I taught myself to eat breakfast. It was hard at first. I did not have the appetite to eat yet at such an early hour but I can always teach myself to follow what is right. Now I eat breakfast and never skips it. You know what I mostly eat for breakfast? Fruits, fruits, and fruits. A breakfast need not be pancake or cereals, or fried eggs all the time. Fruits make a good breakfast food. Now I feel really healthy.

To me breakfast is cucumbers, tomatoes, cheese, smoked fish, fresh fruit, bread and coffee. That is what we eat for breakfast were I live. I love a huge Israeli breakfast. It is healthy and keeps me full for hours.

I am totally opposite. I love breakfast food, although I rarely do eat breakfast funnily enough. My son took after me too... His favorite restaurant is Dennys lol

We would also be eating at the same time as you do during weekends. But when kids get up early, they would be seeking for some real heavy meal.

Does it really matter what you eat and when? I think it is important to eat breakfast but if you are not working or not a student going to school, then I think it is OK to skip breakfast. And then, what does it matter what you eat, as long as you eat something healthy.
On the weekends, when my kids were teenagers, my husband loved to cook breakfast on Saturdays. This was a big breakfast, eggs, bacon, pancakes and orange juice. He made a lot for us. So, we would eat a lighter lunch and then, often the kids would eat cereal for dinner. Why not? We didn't feel like eating a heavy dinner after having a big breakfast and then, a good lunch. On Saturdays, I really didn't care what my kids ate, as long as it was somewhat healthy. I never bought the sweetened cereals, so if they ate a healthy cereal and a banana for dinner, that was OK with me. They had veggie sticks and an apple for lunch.
Sometimes we just have to 'listen' to our bodies as to when we are hungry and need to eat. I don't think it is necessary to eat 3 meals every single day. We just need to tune into what our bodies are telling us, about when to eat.

I know what you mean. the only time I eat breakfast foods for breakfast is when I'm on the road, and the hotel menu offers something special like Eggs Benedict, or something similar that I don't get at home. I have never liked cereals, although my husband loves them. I don't eat certain foods at certain times of day. I just eat what I want to eat, when I feel like eating it.
