With the rising costs of sodas, and just about everything, these days I have tried to cut back on my costs. After seeing the ads on TV about the new SodaStream I did have my doubts that this would be able to produce a quality tasting soda that I have come to be used to.
I did take the plunge and purchased one of the SodaStream systems and have found that the taste is actually not that bad at all. Sure one might have to adjust the soda flavorings to their own taste but the ability to reap savings compared to the price of a single six pack per bottle of flavorings is quite steep. For the cost of a single six pack one can make 11 1 liter bottles of soda adding up to quite a bit of savings. I would definitely advise those who might be thinking of this system to go ahead and buy one and start saving money as I have.

I had seen this as well and wondered if it was as they say. It is nice to know that it can replace sodas bought in a store. It is definetely something I will consider in the near future.

The taste is rather comparable to the store bought sodas and with 4 of using the machine so far within a 2 week period have yet to replace the CO2 cartridge yet.

It seems that there is more evidence every day that soda is bad for you, including diet sodas. I think I would rather stick with coffee, tea, or juice. Or just plain water.

I would never purchase the SodaStrem, as I don't drink sodas, so it wouldn't do me any good. I would rather drink water which I drink a lot of,and now that I drink my fruits and veggies everyday, drinking soda whether I buy it or make it with the Soda Stream, is out of the question. I have seen that commercial too,and it looks cool, but when you get right down to it, none of it is good for you. I want to remain healthy, so I will just drink my water and my fruits and veggies. Take care, and have fun in here.

i would try it your strategy, although in my place it is not yet available. so your strategy to save from buying costly products helps a lot to save money and focus to purchase only relevant products and services at low cost, good quality and the most important to think in terms of affordability. the manner to think to save even a penny add up to the saving and helps a lot during tight budgeting.

Yes saving money anyway that I can is helpful to our family. Sure the initial cost of the machine did make me hesitant at first but with 4 of using the machine did make for a better choice than buying sodas from the store.
