To achieve success in your life that you first have is the purpose of life (goal setting). The lack of purpose in life within you will cause yourself to passively accept whatever is offered by the life you live and normally you do not get very boring at the same time exciting. Most people who live without goals will focus on running the place and spend their time boring without a significant achievement. They only become "spectators" of a life. They can only see the success of others but had never imagined for herself. This is called aka live life without a mission with no purpose!. You have to have a mission in this world in order to live your life meaningful and exciting!

You are so right. There is a problem, today, with people wanting something for nothing. No matter what one chooses to do. They have to work hard to succeed in it.

"Success" is one of the meanings of the historical-root of "happyness"---i.e. whatever happens--if you're satisfied about the part you played in it--is a success!
Of course, "succeed" is more-firmly rooted in "come after" (as in "the prince succeeds the king to the throne) than in 'satisfy.' But ... C`est la vie!

What you said is true kingola. We cannot achieve success in an easy way. There will be a lot of hard work that we need to do in order to gain success.
Have a nice day and welcome to myLot!

Sometimes I feel that success has fallen into the lap of others, making me a little jealous! Although I more agree with you, without hard work and a goal, success is not likely.

Hi Kingola. Nice advice you have given to us. I agree with you. We need to working hard to achieve success in any aspect of our life. Some succeeding people even got failures in they way to get succeed. We have to be discipline and we need planning and targets for our efforts in performing something if we want to succeed.

True. Success does take hard work. It also takes knowing what your end goal is. If you are losing weight, is success losing 10, 20, 30 pounds? Maybe getting into a smaller size? If you are looking for financial success, how much money would you consider being successful? Some people would consider themselves a success if they make $50,000/year. Others would not and consider $100,000/year. If someone just in general says they would be a success if they lost weight, made more money, built muscles, etc., it would be a never ending quest for success.
You need to determine that end goal to know when you have reached success...and that can be different for everyone.

Yes,we have to start with baisc thing. When we want to succeed we first have to think about it and have a goal where we want to reach. We don't have to be negative as it is biggest hurdle in one's path. Then we have to start working towards it and its hard work only which can make our dream possible.Really If one had to get success in life then its combination of luck, hardwork.
