This maybe should go to politics on here, but then I thought no because this concerns every person in the U.S. Its totally blown me away what the government expects of small businesses
So I was reading online and also watching Fox news. Small businesses like taco bell, poppa John's, Dollar General etc are having to make very hard decisions. If they have 50 workers they have to pay for their healthcare. This would seriously make them go under and is now turning full time employees into part time. On finding an employer with 50 employees would have to pay 1.79 an hour for each employee. Lets take this for a spin and see what is happening as we all wait for the shoe to drop. 1.79 x 40 hours per employee = $71.60 now take it monthly for one employee = $286.40 Then take it for a year 3436.80 per employee for a year How is any store, business etc going to survive this new healthcare? If they dont have that many employees and do parttime they dont have to pay then everyone that was ON healthcare with their jobs will have to pay for healthcare on their own and if you dont take it then the IRS will get it before you ever see your income tax returns . I worked management for a theater and I just know there is no way they can pay for that many workers. Does anyone think this Healthcare is really going to spiral everything and we will see more and more shut down? Or do all the businesses just hire part time and let the people deal with their healthcare and government demands?
Havent been able to find out for sure what it will cost each individual but I have heard from what I have been able to find and watch on news $1200.00 or more individual. Havent found family yet either.
I am sincerely worried about businesses and how to keep them alive with taking the time to figure out how much an employer would have to pay per year on 1 employee on the new healthcare that begins in 2014.
