I bought this dress last year, it is black with orange details and very classy. However, I didn't have the chance to wear it because I wasn't confident. It is stretchy and shows all the details and I have a small waist and wider hips so I was trying it on every time but I was wearing something else at the last minute. Tonight I thought it was a great choice for my friend's birthday and I decided to wear it with my black ancle noots. It looked nice and I got some nice compliments.
Now I am thinking that I should have worn this dress more times. I don't know why I hadn't. I think it is all about confidence, if I feel nice with my outfits I can support them and feel great!
Do you keep some of your clothes for special occasions and then you realise that you haven't worn them as much as you wanted?

Before I felt the same way as you.I was afraid that when I wore a new dress,my friends would think it ugly. Honestly we cared too much what the people said. But imagine that if you are confident enough, whatever you wear, you are shining and attractive. There was nothing wrong with the dressing,it is the matter of our attitude.
So choose what you like most and wear what you want.Do concern more about yourself rather than others. And I am sure you are always beautiful as you are confident.
Have a nice day.

Thank you! I also believe that confidence is very important, if we are confident about ourselves and feel beautiful, then others will see us this way! Unfortunately I had passed a period of time when I didn't feel so good with myself and this gave others the opportunity to express many different opinions with bad intentions probably. We all go through that time I think. But now I don't care any more and I feel great with whatever I am wearing!

I had this skirt that I bought for the Christening of our god daughter but unfortunately, wasn't able to attend. It sort of occupied the back part of my closet since then and I always think that it looks too formal to be used for work or casual meet-ups with friends. But one time I became lazy and had nothing to wear as everything was in my dirty clothes' hamper. So I just put on that skirt with a casual white plain shirt and some scarf. Looked casual enough for me! And it's flattering, and like you I almost smack myself in the head thinking why didn't I ever think of wearing it this way?
