Hopeless

It's been more than two weeks now since I started to see my luck online. I have been applying for part-time jobs online in few legit websites to no avail. I seriously need extra income to aid me with my payable. I have been sending out applications and keep getting rejected or no response at all. Some of my applications were rejected because they no longer have available post for the job or they prefer lowest bidders for the job. I have been bidding really low but there are other applicants who are almost willing to do a job without considering if the pay they'll get is right for the job. They are willing to go really low. Some employers are just unresponsive. In the past two weeks, I feel like I giving up already.
I have a few friends who are home-based and are earning pretty much. They keep telling me that to get an online job you really have to be patient and just don't give up. They said it was never easy for them when they were still starting up with online job. It's a matter of trial and error.
I've made sure that my profile is impressive but I don't even see a single ray of hope. Hahaha! I guess online job is not for me. Do you guys have any suggestion on how I can improve my profile possibly to get hired immediately? Or do you have any suggestions on how I can promote my self for employment?

I guess there are people that are lucky when it comes to online earning.. you are just 2 weeks trying your luck online and it sounds that you are already losing hope there.. don't be.. some people find their fortune not until a year of trying.. it is really up to you on how persistent you are.. I am also trying my luck on finding a way to have an income through online but unfortunately I am not close at it because I don't have enough time to search for it.. but I am not losing any hope.. so just try and try until you succeed.. okey..

Hi dear girls Neelia and June, I just wanted to share you my luck. You are right talking about patience and persistence, they are basic on online jobs. I´m doing my part with an eshop. I work online with my own eshop, I do dropshipping. Look online the meaning and suppliers for dropshippers if you don´t know what it is.
I hope this could help both.
Blessings cute girls... dainy

Thanks! I'll do that. I'll keep trying. That's my problem too. I don't have a lot of time to search for job posts but I just have to keep trying still :)

We have plenty of job opportunities through out the world! First you have to improve your patience regarding work potential. Workmanship and own self confidence should be exposed to your level best. We can do work on internet by using our little effort! You can promote yourself in many ways. You first enlarge scoping of your hopes on your best trials. Try and try...ultimately you definitely reach your goal... I am also earning somewhat on internet using my skills and effort!

Remain optimistic and hopeful. Never let others
see your disappointment. Make sure your profile reflects
the absolute most positive you that is possible. You have
to think from their position. What would you want to hear, see
read, know etc...
Make lots of contacts/friends. Networking is positively the
best approach.
Patience....It will happen...

perhaps you could do a page with basically your resume on it? are you making sure you send out cover letters with all your resumes? i am sure this is all stuff you already know and have prepared. this is the only thing i could thing of. perhaps you are not doing anything wrong. it's just a matter of waiting. after all, the job market is really hard now a days. unemployment is still at an all time high. your friends are right. you just can't give up. keep doing what you are doing and keep pressing forward.

hi there junerainemay,
earning online is quite a tough job. hence, you really need a lot of perseverance, the many people says, "perseverance is the key". but the technique here is to find the right niche and the right market. let say, you are good in writing, then, why not nurture that gift? in that way, you can earn on the stories and writing that you can make. for sure, if you found your niche, you can do a lot better online and that is part of online life. i know and understand what you feel right now but don't loose hope. if you really want to make it happen, believed on it, pray for it and God will surely make a way for you.

thanks! I've actually been praying for it and I know God will answer my prayers soon. I'm actually trying every possible job opportunity that I know I can perform well and exceed expectation. Sooner or later I'll have it. I guess I just have to be more positive in this. Happy myLotting! :)

do you really want to engage to online job like this? Will this be a good source of living? but if yes for you, believe you can and you are halfway there. and those who have answered before me, they gave such good suggestions on where to go. I don't have any online job except here in mylot. I don't think I can still manage to go anywhere unless they are accepting Asian or from Asian countries. Good luck...

Yes, I want to get an online job only for part-time. I'm from the Philippines and most of my friends are working home-based full-time so I think there are still freelancing sites out there which hire/accept Asian. Other employers may have specifications but mostly they don't care where you came from as long as you have good grasp of the English language and can speak it fluently during interviews, they will consider you an active candidate. Only, it's so difficult to find part-time jobs online because most of the jobs offered are full-time. I can't give up my regular job yet for an online one. I need to weigh things up. I'm still testing the water. :)

ahhh so you know those sites already right? eventually the will see your worth. yes give yourself some time but have also a deadline, until when would you like to test the water? It should not be forever, don't you think?
